I always practice using A and B... then the issue came to my notice, both A and B add up together even though I only activate the meter A. For example, I reset the meter B now after I pumped fuel (with meter A keeping the record) and start to travel and what I notice is meter A still running even though I only activate meter B. Anyone has this issue ??

I didnt notice much about the meter....

But about the car sensor also same with me. Must go near near only can open or lock

Wind and engine noise also too loud but engine noise cannot solve cause too near datch box. Some other owner say is tyre noise actually but i haven confirm with it yet

the A n B will word simultanueosly.. u cannot disable it but just to reset it to ZERO..

yalo, the sensor for the lock & unlock remote control need so close then able to function. no so good lahhh

Guys, it is the safety feature in this kind of alarm. I know many ppl like to disarm the alarm from far away. Tats dangerous cos thief might get into ur car before u even reach ur car. This feature has been there since Vios 2003.

My car had a problem today.

There are "tik tik tik" sound coming from the meter area. I think something inside the casing covering the meter is loose.

Anyone had this problem?

I dont have tik tik sound at the meter there but i have buzzing sound at driver side door there. Going to check this sat for second service too.

And if anyone face the seat problem, when you brake the seat like move forward (not stand at its place) is not a problem. This vios seat has double (i dunno how to say) hook, so you just need to readjust again 1 more time.

Actually more and more vios can be seen on the road also. Today i even saw a wrc altis liao on the road, so fast

my new vios also got this problem, when it is exposed to sunlight & become heated, the sound more loughter to hear. it is because plastic deform when heated and the meter cover "bergeseh" with something around there , as a result the "tik tik tik" appeared.

I have informed to SC and they book my car on this Friday for checking and repairing. Hope they can settle it down because this is the 3rd time for resending to SC. They fail to repair on the 1st and 2nd time.

Hi, just came back from my 1st service, done only 886km becos tomorrow going for a long journey so do it a bit early, with semi syn. oil cost me RM 114.40, actually do so complain about the high rpm when cold start, seem nothing being done at all, moreover have to wait for 2+ hours.

Haha I guess your're the 'papaya' in motortrader forum.

Do keep me updated about the problem and if it can be solved DIY.

If it's just some simple job then I'd rectify it myself.

Almost 15000km already, going for 3rd service.

So far didn't heard any 'tik tik tik' sound. But got squeaking sound when cold start + open aircon and immediately then reverse gear. MyVi also don't have like that. Complain & 'fix' on 2nd service but still there.

Buzzing sound is like what? The first time I got my car got buzzing sound because got two thin sticker/strip in the wing mirror. Pull it off the no more liao. Even the chrome lining on our four doors got plastic wrap - hard to peel off when left little bit on the corner tip.

Anyway, do S spec have visors on the door?


As for cold start, I got 1400rpm normally. On aircon, it goes 1500rpm and then down to 1100rpm.

up to now i wun hear squeaking dound when cold start, only got the sound when start air-con immediately. i think is normal gua.
when i got my car, the all doors chrome lining plastic wrap was disappeared , but still got a little bit around the corner tip as well

the rmp will get high when cold start, it is normal la for now a day high tech car.

Hi, yesterday i did ask the se whether we can change our battery when the battery is flat, the se told me you can but the car wont start becos when you take out the battery the timing all out, so when we want to change battery we have to sent to UMW toyota, that is nonsense becos what if it suddenly die of at midnight, seem that the service centre is controlling every single parts that we change, wonder whether you guys can ask from other toyota sc whether it is true about the battery problem.
