i got same situation with you, suppose get it on 28/jan, but need wait 2 more days 29/jan or 30/jan..sad sad.....

i find that my car type 'S' does not has the 3rd brake light, it only get with the rear spoiler brake light. Have you all find the same?

for type 'E & G', sure they get the 3rd brake light because they donot have the rear spoiler coming with.

If like that, it will big 'rugi' for buying type 'S'.

any comment for you all?

i think better can get both ma, same as honda city with spoiler installed.

like that pay more 3k for bodykit consider so expensive ler.

3k is the price different S & G, but i saw outside bodykit installed can be get around 1.2-1.5k (material making is different & no LED in spoiler)

as a result, minus it, the remain 1.5k is for black interior (you should know only color is different, the material making is the same) and optitron meter. that all.

finallly, it means that the you pay 1.5k for optitron meter....sign....huh

my new vios also got this problem, when it is exposed to sunlight & become heated, the sound more loughter to hear. it is because plastic deform when heated and the meter cover "bergeseh" with something around there , as a result the "tik tik tik" appeared.

I have informed to SC and they book my car on this Friday for checking and repairing. Hope they can settle it down because this is the 3rd time for resending to SC. They fail to repair on the 1st and 2nd time.

up to now i wun hear squeaking dound when cold start, only got the sound when start air-con immediately. i think is normal gua.
when i got my car, the all doors chrome lining plastic wrap was disappeared , but still got a little bit around the corner tip as well

the rmp will get high when cold start, it is normal la for now a day high tech car.

scratches or stone chip on the paint surface are 100% cannot be avoided. Take it easy and dun be so heart-pain of yr car.

if you want to 100% avoid, you should build a big glass tube and put yr car inside which never ride it out - simple

it is purpose for front parking sensor, but UMW wunnot offer it in Malaysia, they want reduce the cost.

my S spec also using Bridgestone Potenza..

I always pump RM50 petrol into my new vios S spec,

rm2.7 = 1 liter
rm50 = 18.52 liter = around 230km (not a heavy footer & driving in city always but seldom trafic jam)

consider good or bad fc ?

Added on July 4, 2008, 1:46 am I had bought S spec early this yrs, for my opinion, i will definitely go for higest spec type S. I feel no regret after look other ppl drive their vios on the street.


since the car need to use at least few yrs, no regret go for highest spec S because money can earn back in future.

everbody 1st say buy J spec then modify kau kau, do u willing take out 10k cash for modify go check the spec different between J & S la.

free rm3500 petrol or rebate rm3000 by toyota. correct me i'm wrong.

if u feel the butt so 'kosong', u can add spoiler, it will seem more nice a bit.

toyota 1st 6 months sale is very very bad in malaysia, the japan toyota very unhappy with UMW, maybe will terminate their contract. that why UMW gv more and more disccnt for their car. If not mistake they going to pump their sale on next 6 months till the end of the year with giving rebate more than rm7-8k.....

dun so scare la, they wunt pour other oil for u...if u dun trust them, u can take back the balance oil barrel or even u can go in the technician's working place pour it by urself.. I have tried it b4..
