hi to all existing new vios members,
i find that my car type 'S' does not has the 3rd brake light, it only get with the rear spoiler brake light. Have you all find the same? for type 'E & G', sure they get the 3rd brake light because they donot have the rear spoiler coming with. If like that, it will big 'rugi' for buying type 'S'. any comment for you all? |

kazama,
3k is the price different S & G, but i saw outside bodykit installed can be get around 1.2-1.5k (material making is different & no LED in spoiler) as a result, minus it, the remain 1.5k is for black interior (you should know only color is different, the material making is the same) and optitron meter. that all. finallly, it means that the you pay 1.5k for optitron meter....sign....huh |

QUOTE(TheNameX @ Mar 18 2008, 04:39 PM)
Did you guys use the ordometer (aint sure if the spelling correct, but I'm referring to the digital distance calculator on the dash board)?? I have a practice where I reset and record the distance I travel after pumping petrol to my car so that I could know exactly how much I could travel with that amount of petrol I fuelled in. I always practice using A and B... then the issue came to my notice, both A and B add up together even though I only activate the meter A. For example, I reset the meter B now after I pumped fuel (with meter A keeping the record) and start to travel and what I notice is meter A still running even though I only activate meter B. Anyone has this issue ?? my car-S type also like that. whats wrong ler? |

QUOTE jmunchar Posted Today, 02:31 PM well come onboard in new vios owner family, wht color for yr new car-type S ? Guys. Getting my car this evening. "S " spec. Can't wait. QUOTE blinky Posted Today, 01:56 PM My car had a problem today. There are "tik tik tik" sound coming from the meter area. I think something inside the casing covering the meter is loose. Anyone had this problem? I have informed to SC and they book my car on this Friday for checking and repairing. Hope they can settle it down because this is the 3rd time for resending to SC. They fail to repair on the 1st and 2nd time. Added on March 19, 2008, 3:16 pm QUOTE jmunchar Posted Today, 02:31 PM well come onboard in new vios owner family, wht color for yr new car-type S ? Guys. QUOTE blinky Posted Today, 04:27 PM Haha I guess your're the 'papaya' in motortrader forum. Do keep me updated about the problem and if it can be solved DIY. If it's just some simple job then I'd rectify it myself. Thanks i think better dun DIY because will viod the warranty if broken. i update you after go to SC on tis Fri. QUOTE dstl1128 Posted Today, 04:29 PM up to now i wun hear squeaking dound when cold start, only got the sound when start air-con immediately. Almost 15000km already, going for 3rd service. So far didn't heard any 'tik tik tik' sound. But got squeaking sound when cold start + open aircon and immediately then reverse gear. MyVi also don't have like that. Complain & 'fix' on 2nd service but still there. Buzzing sound is like what? The first time I got my car got buzzing sound because got two thin sticker/strip in the wing mirror. Pull it off the no more liao. Even the chrome lining on our four doors got plastic wrap - hard to peel off when left little bit on the corner tip. Anyway, do S spec have visors on the door? As for cold start, I got 1400rpm normally. On aircon, it goes 1500rpm and then down to 1100rpm. when i got my car, the all doors chrome lining plastic wrap was disappeared , but still got a little bit around the corner tip as well visors on the door?? what lai de? the rmp will get high when cold start, it is normal la for now a day high tech car. |

scratches or stone chip on the paint surface are 100% cannot be avoided. Take it easy and dun be so heart-pain of yr car.
if you want to 100% avoid, you should build a big glass tube and put yr car inside which never ride it out - simple |

QUOTE(Dickong @ Jul 1 2008, 11:24 PM) Recently discover my vios tyre air pressure need to pump up every week, if not the pressure drop a lot n more fc. My surprise it drop from 2.2 to 1.8 in between a week for four tyres. Added on July 4, 2008, 1:46 am QUOTE(moonstone13 @ Jul 2 2008, 08:44 PM) Vios Sifus, I would appreciate it if someone could offer some suggestions on Vios models. After much debating (between City idsi and a Vios), seems that Vios is the way to go (according to relative's accounts). But there's now 4 different specs (J, E, G, S). J and E is like 10k difference. Whereas E and G are 5k in difference. If I were trying to get the best value for money model. Which would you recommend and why? Thx~! since the car need to use at least few yrs, no regret go for highest spec S because money can earn back in future. This post has been edited by papaya2: Jul 4 2008, 01:46 AM |

QUOTE(bill_yap @ Jul 25 2008, 10:59 AM) Just some tips, get both RM1500 cash rebate + RM2000 Petrol card, or total RM4000 petrol card from the Toyota SA. toyota 1st 6 months sale is very very bad in malaysia, the japan toyota very unhappy with UMW, maybe will terminate their contract. that why UMW gv more and more disccnt for their car. If not mistake they going to pump their sale on next 6 months till the end of the year with giving rebate more than rm7-8k..... Added on July 25, 2008, 11:02 amUpdate: u can get RM3500 rebate if u visit Kepong Branch. |
