Getting my Vios S black in 2 weeks time.

First, gonna change it to 17" sports rims.

Secondly, try looking for the TRD bodykits. (Yes I know my S comes withe Aerokit, but I don't really like it, the reason I chose S was for the black interior and amber optitron meter.)

Thirdly, gonna take out about RM10k for the ICE (In dash touch screen dvd player with 7" monitor with amps, components and speakers )

That's all I will do.

may i know which service center better? bcoz my car almost reach 1000km, need to service it.. how much need to pay for 1st service? Need to book early? how many hours needed to service it?

Can try the big one at Section 19. Seems to be very professional.

where is ur location ? just choose the 1 convinience to u. there is no so called better SC ...

if cheras then the batu 5 SC, if PJ then the S19 ..., if keoping then opposite jusco, there is 1 authorised toyota sc call roda indah ...

1st service is roughly RM90++ ...

yes need to book early, even u drive in, SC will put u in the last place of the day ...

total service hour include paying is 2 hours for me for normal service

Soon will have the manual version of vios...

or can try the bigger SC... subang.... its bigger den sec19

y need to pay RM90++. i tot 1st and 2nd time are foc, and how abt the subsequent charges? will it be vry expensive?

the foc part usually is refering to labour charges, owner still need to pay for the raw materials (engine oil, filters, etc...)

unless there is some trems stated otherwise...

Vios got free service? Or have to pay? Workmanship? or Material??

the 1st 2 service only free labour, toyota sc labour cost damn espensive 1 ... RM70++ for normal service, so for 1st 2 u save RM140++ d

a normal service, change oil fully syntetic, filter, gasket also need RM270 ++ ...

10k is RM270 ++

20k is RM330 ++, need change the brake fluid

30k is RM500++, need service aircond

40k is RM800++, major service ... air filter, spark plug, brake fluid, ATF etc ...

price above is for fully syntetic ... and is my own experience ...

If we din take their service voucher when we purchase the car, will we have 2 service free?

wow, didnt know u finally ended up with the new vios coz though u go for the new elantra or possiblity the camry.Well hope that suits u. I agree that the new vios will look great with 17 inch wheels!

Wait for a few months more then more bodykits for the new vios will come. Now there aledi skirtings available for the vios but those aren't real bodykits.

hi to all existing new vios members,

i find that my car type 'S' does not has the 3rd brake light, it only get with the rear spoiler brake light. Have you all find the same?

for type 'E & G', sure they get the 3rd brake light because they donot have the rear spoiler coming with.

If like that, it will big 'rugi' for buying type 'S'.

any comment for you all?

haha papaya2, i think because if the third brake light is at the normal place, the spoiler might block it hence people can't see it ... so better to install in spoiler ... somemore it looks sporty mah ...

i think better can get both ma, same as honda city with spoiler installed.

like that pay more 3k for bodykit consider so expensive ler.

papaya2, third brake light is for car behind see u braking and not for cosmetic purpose ...

i get wat u mean, u expect both place also got since u pay more, but does that make sense as the spoiler already block the view if it is install in the rear screen ...

city is different as the car's original 3rd brake is in the rear screen from factory for both vtec and idsi, but is honda malaysia make it a package to add the spoiler with 4th brake light and attract more people buy ...

r u trying to say the price different between G and S?

S spec got different interior (only 1 colour: black), different meter and bodykit
3k for these things
i found it is worth it

I did my 1000km service at Balakong. The guy first said 2-1/2 hours but then 45 minutes already completed. Cost RM92 with regular mineral oil.

Also did my fuel economy test yesterday. Mixed of driving in KL, Putrajaya-KLIA highway and East Coast Highway (max speed 140kmh). Only managed 13.5km/litre this time around. Hmm..
