can we send our car for outsite services ?

will it void our car warranty ?

of coz u can service outside, but ur warranty will be void.

by now u should hv received at least 3 survey forms. if u fill them up n return to umw, u will get about RM60 rebate. 2nd service is about 90 something also coz only change lubricant n leak plug gasket. in the end if u choose to use the e-vouchers u will only need to pay rm20+. that was wat happen when i send my car for service.

toyota trd sportivo looks will b launched by umw soon on a local car blog. kinda interested to c how J is going to transform into sportivo...

When I had my Vios, I stopped using mineral oil after the 1st service, so I can't tell you if it is better for the car engine. But I can tell you for my Corolla, the engine sounded and felt unusually harsh on mineral oil. Many of the new Corolla owners experiened the same harsh feelings as I have but this problem was retified the moment we switched to fully synthetic oil. Not only was the harshess gone, the overall driving experience just felt better.

One of the other advantages of synthetic oil is you only have to service your car every 10k so it's a time saver.

Most of the time the form will be sent via email with a link to their website. That's what i usually get. I don't think they will sent via post anymore.

I suggest doing so in your 3rd service instead. That way, you would have driven the car long enough to give you a very clear idea the difference between mineral and synthetic. There's always a small likelihood that synthetic oil would have no noticible difference at all for your car. For me, I only switched on the 3rd service (10k) and the difference was immediately noticible.

That's up to you but synth oil can last 10k or more. I went on 15k interval after my 4 service. no problems at all.

Doing your service every 10K is not a problem. Especially if you are using Fully Synthetic engine oil. I do mine between 5K - 8K. Even though i use Fully Synthetic oil, bcuz of my high mileage.

55% are mid range tint....Aircool. Vcool or 3M that blocks out 97% UV light are high end tint. Which is also much more expensive.

  That rim are sport rim?  I owned Vios G but that rim give me feel like normal rim.  I think Vios E rim is better looking...

For Toyota Premium Mineral and Synthetic Formulation, it is SL/CF and for Toyota Full Synthetic oil, it is SM/CL.

By the way, can we bring third party engine oil to Toyota and ask them to change to third party engine oil during services?  I plan to change to Mobil 1 0W-40 in future service.
