hey bro i get what you mean now. my sli setup oc 648core / 2000mem / 1674 shader got only low 20s fps in crysis. setting was 1680*1050 high setting. and i was using only directx 9.

tried using dx10. the result? too embarrased to tell.

The crysis demo doesn't support SLI. Wait for crysis to come out. Supposed to support SLI and quad-core at that time.

Crysis will be available today. I will be collecting my pre ordered Limited Edition today. Cant wait to play it with SLI enabled. Dont forget to get the latest 169.09 driver. 169.09 enables SLI for Crysis. They say SLI will increase framerates by about 40-50% at time of launch. Crytek will then release a patch within 2 weeks to increase SLI performance even more. Looks like I'll be taking my own sweet time exploring the 1st stage, shooting down all the trees n playing around in the environment. Then after the patch comes out oni let rip with full SLI performance.

I am so glad that I have purchased the Geforce 8800GT early this month.

There are far too many good games coming up that will definitely need this wonderful card eg. Gears Of War, Crysis, Call of Duty 4, Empire Earth 3, Blacksite Area 51, Hellgate London, Simcity Societies and etc.

Beautiful and smooth gaming @ 1280x1028 with 4xAA and 16xAF.

tried crysis demo on medium settings, graphic still better than farcry..

i found no cpu hunger.. only vegas consumed my 3ghz.. bad game..

can't wait to snipe the enemy while taking a pee.. lol..

This what I built my rig for. Yeeeeeeeeeeha. Finally get to unleash King Kong. Hopefully 8800GTX SLI can run it at 2560x1600, High settings with SLI n multi cores enabled now.

Sorry I haven't bench my card at all. Mainly due to the fact I only played games at 1280x1024, I used a 19inch LCD monitor (non widescreen)

Yes, there is a bottleneck, I believe it is caused by my CPU and Ram.
I was using a Geforce 7800GTX slightly slower than your current one. After changing that to a Zotac Geforce 8800GT, I can tell you there is a huge difference even with the bottleneck mentioned earlier.

Be warn however, both the noise and the heat that this card produce is quite high due to stock cooler. I would advised getting a 3rd party cooler like Thermalright HR3, Zalman 900LED or Artic Cooling Accelero S1.
