For me, other than gaming peripherals, I prefer to hav all my hardware inside the casing for ease of moving...

I would love to use my sound card but really cannot use coz really no space bcoz of my GCs blocking all slots.... shakehead.gif

If u wanna check which mobo I use, see my siggie... then apply dual cooling GCs in SLI then u will see that there is no space available... End of discussion...

actually for u coz ur using the silent pipe...the pipe goes to the back right?? so it blocks the top pci slot...

change ur coolers la....mebbe to zalman or something...then sure can use that 1st pci slot

I dunno la... But to change my cooling is quite impossible (for silentpipe)... Anyway, going to change to 8800GT... so can use all of my PCI slots again.... biggrin.gif

I just test Need For Speed ProStreet demo this morning & surprisingly this game run pretty smooth with my Geforce 8600GT (O/C 600/1600) PCI-E 256MB GDDR3 with 4x antialiasing, all options set to high on 1024x768 75Hz. Even I set it to 1280x1024 75Hz without antialiasing & all options enable high, NFS ProStreet run smoothly. Can't wait to get a the full game. I'm happy with my 8600GT, are you ? biggrin.gif

7900gs should be outperform than 8600GT during gameplay . but ur 86GT is oc edition , diff story ! mind to tell me ur FPS ? more than 30 ?

I do wish u can post up some screenshot and also post up ur rig... As I heard someone said that, 4x AA + all high setting + 1024 x 768, u will only get very low FPS during the game, hence it won't be very smooth i guess... wink.gif

Wondering here guys, would i see significant advantage/improvement over a single 8800GTS IF i were to setup SLi?

Really tempted to get another 1, probably by end of this month (if allowed) and setup SLi. The GTS price is going dirt cheap right now.. I dont think there is any problem SLi 2 8800GTS with different clock/memory speed right?

Only problem now of course, would be money. I would probably need to get another mobo unless there is some kind of hack that allow my Xfire mobo to run SLi...

ure still mem limited at 320mb..

ure just having more processing power but limited on ure mems!!
