i dont know to complaint what. so far, less headache and really perform well.
tern verge p9 to be exact but heavily mod. u can create it strava apps

mine is p9, earlier model vbrake 406 wheelset.made in taiwan, one of the earliest model from tern.

where else, d9 is 451 wheelset. got 2 version it.
2019/2020 model come with vbrake
2020/2021 model come with discbrake

451 is bigger diameter than 406 = 45mm bigger to be exact.
nowdays, easy to get spare tube and tyre. the only problem is the choices of tyre and brand are limited when using 451 compare to 406.

if ur planning to get a bike for commuting, tern wont suite ur needs. but if u wanna ride and feel like normal bike, low flex and stiff then tern is a great choice.

fnhon is like another siblings to dahon. there are some rumors ex-dahon worker made fnhon, but i think the main reason actually fnhon came up bcoz of the enjoyable moment build ur own folding bike.

to tell u the truth,
there is no complete bike for fnhon. i also owned one


fnhon only sell bike frame. too many shop offerring complete bike, but there is no warranty for complete bike (only the frame) from fnhon itself. only seller give their own warranty.

tern is a reputable brand, good 5 years warranty especially for the frame. their gearing parts are ok but not the best, some said its overpriced.

the unique identity for tern is their frame clamp and handlepost. for sure solid and stiff,even though a bit heavy.

anyway, assamble it is easy. u can go to LBS, properly tune for less than rm50.

u may try it. after some period when u start active in cycling naybe u wanna upgarde later. that is a normal process. i saw many of that before and it also happen to me. that is an experience u cant buy
nearly the same. schwalbe one on 349 size are folded tyre, no wire and a bit lighter (not that much)
failed to do fondo, due to tyre problem. currently im running on marathon plus tyre as i keep it before as a spare. heavy and bouncy

bought another dahon vybe d7 (cheapest model from dahon - that time rm1k) for my wife.

after bought dahon,.then i realised that the bike is solid, feel stable and good ridden. all the groupset/gearing can change without any impact on handling feel. that time i scout for tern and sold my mongoose.

and the rest, history began lah..hahaha

what u can see is, buy and sell will never end. and i got some amount of loss when doing it. then i realised, why i didnt buy tern at 1st place? anyway, i do satisfy however that my loss changing bike i can gain many expirienced on it

oh ya, i do modified all of my bike. nothing in stock condition

that time joshua hon still working in dahon and dahon vector is his project. when they split and form tern, he take back his design and upgrade the handlepost with better frame clamp.

dahon however continue the same design with dahon vigor. and its still V wording right?

Still saw a few sellers in shopee.
If you want physical shop, then rodalink i saw in shopee still has D9.

USJcycles...likely u gonna pay much more.

-Buy from Rodalink
-Deliver to you
-You bring to bike shop for assemble ( just a few part - Front wheels to Fork, Pedals, Saddle /Seatpost installation, handlebar adjustment..and some adjustment if needed)
