Most display cards have DVI outputs connected to HDMI...but for pure HDMI to HMDI connection, please check the specs first.

Hi need help here,

I have a problem with my LCD TV, when I'm connecting pc to the TV using VGA cable I can get the display of BIOS and until windows start boot screen.

Once the windows start and sound come out there is no display. blank screen. I still can get the sound but the display is blank.

I can get the display when using S-Video cable but not HDMI and VGA cable. Now my pc only detect my cd tv as "default monitor" before this its detect as "Sony LCD TV".

Can anybody help me. cry.gif

Have you selected the correct input source from your LCD TV?

Have you set the correct resoultion and refresh rate on your PC before connecting to the TV?

Most of the time, ppl. who get this usually downgraded from Vista back to XP...so what you do is upgrade your drivers...

have tried select the VGA mode first before entering windows? maybe the resolution is not compatible with the LCD.

Next will be looking at the refresh rates, you should set it to 60Hz and nothing higher than that.

yes i have tried chang ethe refresh rate, smaller resolution but still can't display. I have tries 3 diffferent pc.

Have you tried a different vga cable? Sometimes those can't be trusted as well. hehe....during very important presentation, I even carry a spare Vga cable just in case.

Just bought 2 x Samsung 32" R8 from Harvey Norman for my guest rooms. They have a price slash there.

How much is it?
Never go to Harvey Norman. Normally just go to Seng Heng and other electric shop.
But quit expensive.

SenQ offered me RM2700 for it but I don't think it comes with HDMI cable. I didn't buy it, just happened to ask for fun since they told me that they were having a promotion for Samsung LCDs.

honest..if wanna buy electronic goods from outside..only 2 shops is fully recommended....Legend(for lcd n plasma only) and harvey...others not so good...

Harvey Norman can get cheaper price thn HSL or senq? 32a53m at hsl quote at rm3499+/- wth 2yrs all risk warranty-selayang, near selayang mall. Anyone know if any price slash for CNY in any lcd store?
