I am actually looking at Panasonic VIERA TH-42PV70H.

Can anyone give honest comment on this model?

and how much it is selling now?

Really? I got monster and cap ayam S-video, I cant see a difference as much as 20-30%. i dont think it will much diff.

it depends on every individual's eyes...u should be happy u cant c any diff between cables and cant c any diff between 60Hz and 100Hz ehhe u can save alot! ><

Wanna know something about Panasonic viera link. Is it only applicable to panasonic devices to link with 1 remote control?

Last time I heard someone saying that if the connection is HDMI, then you can control the device even different brand.

How true is the above??

nope, u need all the products tat have vieralink, deifnitely most of it would be panny's product

although the onkyo amp i bought, states tat its also viera link ok, but din try it though

i find those new samsung LCD F8 series dem cun but very expensive also. ive never seen other LCD TV as good as this imho.

Viera link only for Viera..thats unless you know the codes of your other player...but that also will have limited function...

Best is to go Jalan Pasar and get yourself a Universal Remote Controller..I mean one that can learn one...
