For 32" w 100Hz motionflow in the market now, which one of you guys think is the better one:
Sharp A53M Sony D300 Philip PFL9432
Any other models that I've missed? Checked out the D300 at sony centre, it seems the S-Force FRT SURR is quite good compared to the A53M model. Any feedback?
But come to think of it on the other hand, for the price we're paying for the additional features / slight boost of PQ, its not much diff unless we purchase original DVDs / HD / Blu-Ray, with good HDMI cable to see its full potential.

Am considering to buy a 100Hz 32" LCD. Anyone has any info/input of the following: Sharp A53M Sony D300 Philip PFL9432 Is there any other models with 100Hz? Can't seem to find a site with reviews of the above. Cheers!

adrian0229, is there any reason why highly recommend A53M? Is it better ones of the 100Hz in the market. Am planning to get 1 soon. Or just bcos sony D300 is RM600-700 more expensive. Anyone done comparison test of 100Hz? PQ etc...

Went to BEST and evaluated the 32" 100Hz models all using normal std components. Tried it with both DVD and Blu-Ray movie. Here are the findings (based on my eyes of course):
Philips 9432 - Very smooth picture, outweigh D300. Natural colour. With USB. Sharp A53M - PQ not as good as expected. Look blur / not as sharp as the rest of the models. Colour not sharp. Sony 300 - Sharp colour and smooth motion picture. Panasonic 700MK - Sharp colour and smooth picture. Comes with SD slot which others don't.
Overall my conclusion: Am disappointed as the initial plan was to get A53M. But however after much thought and observation, now might consider D300 as it gives a balance result when watching DVD and Blu-Ray disc. In DVD, Philips provides really natural and smooth picture, but PQ on Blu-Ray is different as the details of picture (i.e face of person) looks computer generated. On the other hand, Panasonic is not bad at all, plus it comes with SD slot, which could be useful for viewing photos (at least to me). My 2 cents.....

QUOTE(marky @ Feb 11 2008, 12:22 PM) If wana play SONY ... must play at least D series ..... Yup, I did compare 32" for sharp, philip, panasonic and sony d300. Gotta say that the D is better than the rest even Sharp when it comes to DVD and Blue-Ray. Checked it out at Best weeks ago. But of course for Astro, I would would still prefer Sharp.

Got myself a Sony D300. Brilliant colour output. Astro looks reasonable on normal mode but stretchy on wide mode. Could really see the difference on Astro even when switch the motion enhancer to standard or high. Superb on Xbox360.
