I kena this. you have to call them during working hours 9am-6pm. so basically... if it takes 10 mins to get to them via phone, and your mobile phone charges you 27 sen per minute, it's a RM2.70 process.

DO NOT call them after office hours. Only their credit card personnel will be on duty. So yea... I paid 6min*27 sen for the off-hours futile call, and another RM2.70 for the actual call to reset pwd

Must call fast fast else rugi kaw Kaw...ok thanks, will call them tomorrow. What verifications they need? So I can get it ready.

they'll ask you some personal questions + send you an OTP to your mobile phone to verify your identiy. after that, they'll send you another SMS to reset pwd on the website

I called them at 9am, i got that SMS only at 12:30pm

depending on your needs, it might be better to open a Stashaway SG account to do Stashaway FD

That is called internalization?

internalization is when broker settles matching orders in-house first if available... if no matching they route to the exchange...

Am a Stashaway Sg customer. I can say from my experience, comparing the brokerages and robo-advisors in Singapore and Malaysia, Stashaway Sg, followed by FSM Singapore are a mile ahead in addressing customers questions/issues. Stashaway Sg has whatsapp where you can type your question and within a few hours they will reply and correct whatever is necessary. They also have email but usually answer through whatsapp. Works 7 days a day (from morning till 6 evening). They are also polite. I ran into a few issues which they settled promptly while other places up till now simple things also don't want to solve. So they will get more of my business next year. This year, money all tied up already

Some examples above are from brokerage firms and corporate banking side, can't find a private bank example. But in theory it's not impossible, especially for banks with multiple banking segments in one umbrella like JP Morgan (which has private banking, corporate banking, investment banking etc).

This one comes close: https://www.euromoney.com/article/b12kkwwzh...t-the-beginning

Front-running is very common actually, even in Malaysia.
