Go to any RHB branch and say you want to open multicurrency account. Make sure you ask for conventional account.

Islamic mca doesn't have foreign FD.

Very short-term DBS USD FD rates drop by some 8 basis points to 5.01-5.03% recently...

Used to be 5.09%...

Yea for sure, they hadn't raise the coverage limit since 2019, and gotta factor in inflation etc.

Hi all, financial illiterate here

Have some USD in my HSBC multicurrency account as a result of investment from the past
thinking about just putting it into foreign FD but maybe in SGD... question is must I use MYR to convert and follow bank rate? Can I not use wise to convert USD-SGD and place it into a SGD FD account?

Thanks and any better alternatives for what to do with the money welcome as well
