The Intel stock cooler is worse than Ryzen. And the speed penalty is heavy compared to Ryzen.

Looks at the R23 AND R20 scores, it's throttling so bad if compared to Ryzen using stock cooler.

At least for Ryzen, the stock cooler is still usable BUT for Intel, the stock cooler is a joke, cannot even manage decent boost for long work load.

That can simply be fixed by getting a cheap aftermarket cooler. Even then ryzen cpus also mostly needed aftermarket cooler too so the point is quite moot.

Not to mention that intel gives the option of integrated gpu and the ryzens (except APU ryzen) don't have integrated gpu.

Those waste of sand reviews got it wrong. They didn't focus on what's fixed with RKL compared to cml. Prices are going up also in overseas. And intel do hinted that there will b supply constraint in the 2nd half of year.
Do note that the latest agesa didn't actually fix the usb issue for some ppl. That's the trouble with Ryzen platform. Inconsistent.

Hint: forget abt yes it. U can get better deals with ebucket combo.

i switched from SR micron rev B to a DR DJR but still budget ram kit and OC from 3866c18 to 4000c18. Actually squeezed out an extra 30-40fps in F1 2020 which is rather interesting. I think i can stick with this 10400F for now untill i decided on getting a bigger ITX case for bigger cooling.

I have yet to test the uhd 730.

If can play esports games 1080 high at 60fps, then it’s a win for intel.

Increased CPP to 85w and CPU managed to maintain 87c until cinebench completed.

I guess this is the max wattage for stock cooler.

R23 = 9462

R20 = 3672

the stock cooler is actually only rated only up to 65w as per intel's official guide. But most aib have been naughty.

Where as Ryzen stock cooler will max out the wattage until the CPU reaches 95c to provide max boost frequency until the end.

Heavily depends on ambient. It fails on mine, even the prism hits 100C peak with AVX.

If you talking about cs go and valorant, sure, moba it's nope.
But integrated is pretty important now, who knows your gpu kaput and needed time for warranty

Nah, 11700 non K memang configured to load at 4.6ghz all core load. So it's working as expected.
*
He did mention idle, and that's not normal for core to load 4.6ghz at idle. I thought low clock/volt on idle is one of the advantage over AMD?

B560 motherboard is really important launch, more so than RKL.

To be fair, R5 3600 released on July 7th 2019, this is expected. also the video titled "budget gaming", use RTX 2080 Ti and 3090 for benchmark? sweat.gif

maybe the powerplan in windows set to high performance, so the CPU won't clock down.

The "budget" is the cpu haha, those gpu are used to bottleneck torture it, else if you just use a 1660.. you wont see any difference.

Ahhh if it's locked then something is wrong. Altho it sounds more like a bios setting problem. Perhaps accidentally enabled static clock.

What cooler are you using? If you got a decent aftermarket cooler, can consider unlimited power and should get 10k scores. But even at that, your score is already much better than my 10400F max power at 8000+.
