Most tech reviewer logic:
If Galaxy image is brighter than the iPhone, they will say Galaxy is overexposed. If it's the opposite, Galaxy is crushing the details in the shadows.

If iPhone image is oversaturated, they will say the picture is "colorful" or "vibrant". If Galaxy image is realistic, they will say it has "pale" colors.

Heck, even this year's Galaxy portrait has more detail than the beautified image of the iPhone.

Currently using iPhone 12, I can confirm the face filter is really aggressive. iPhone fans can't accept this fact and insist iPhone images are "natural".

Is it because their built in portrait modes already got beautify built in?

Apple must have changed the algorithm of their recent iPhones. I noticed how they brighten my face, make it a little orange/reddish as if you are glowing and smoothen a bit.

Gone were the days when iPhone photos look natural. It's not. And iPhone users should accept that. It isn't bad. They just need to stop lying to themselves.

Frankly, the gap between samsung and apple flagship when it comes to pictures/portrait - it's negligible .... no point in comparing at all. Where Samsung needs to improve is really the video department, where instead of cramming in a useless 8k 24p, they should improve the overall video output. This is the one thing that i hope samsung can improve quick ( and also allow us to remove all samsung related apps + bixby in the process) .

I'm still using my note 9 , battery tak boleh harap already after 2 years as im a very heavy users ( Bluetooth, GPS, streaming ) but i have to say it's still one of the best phone i've used!! I didnt get the note 20 ultra as the exynos performance is not that great for the asking price....

Actually, all flagship phones (even Chinese brands) already have excellent image quality. I just find it funny that people think iPhone images are natural when it's not.

On the contrary, recent Galaxy flagship phones have great video. The HDR video of iPhone 12 is relatively inferior than the HDR video of Galaxy phones. Again, all flagship phones have at least good video quality.

What Samsung needs to do is stop adding a lot of camera features because they are being criticized for it. They should just make some apps/features optional and let the users decide if they wanna add them via PlayStore or Samsung Apps store.

1. China branded phones have caught up but still not quite there. I can't stand the colour OS being used especially in Oppo phones.
2. samsung video OIS is still not as great as iphone la... let's not kid ourselves here. i actually have to use gimbal to stabilize my video shots on my note 9 yo

After watching this, I'm thinking is it impossible for phone to run genshin at max settings... Then i watched when it comes to RoG Phone 3. Man definitely it's possible lol

I migrated P10+ to Note10+ for my father recently with smart switch.

Pretty much one click solution, except for the usual Whatsapp and Wechat issues which require manual backup/restore. Though you need to relog the accounts on individual apps one by one.

Maybe next year exynos with amd gpu can finally catch up to SD's adreno
I'm upgrading from note20u 990 cause at the very least they seem to have improved battery performance.
This phone is definitely not the one to get if one is a hardcore gamer.

Why note wait for the next note? Note20U doesn't seem justified the cost of upgrade

Got the note for rm3899 during 11/11 sales, phone is good overall but the battery life leaves something to be desired.
Probably not the most wise choice to upgrade but hand itchy lah and the galaxy buds pro included with the preorder tempting
