I have just forgotten something, the US model actually comes with 12GB RAM and also 5G as the base model (if I not mistaken), while for Malaysian market we only get 8GB RAM and 4G only for the base model. So this might affect the final pricing differences as well, by how much, I have no idea. So that could also attribute to lower Malaysian RRP price. Applicable for S20 and S20+ only.

I think for S20 Ultra should be same specs since both market offers 5G. Still I cannot justify the significant price increase this year for S21 series.

You need to ask yourself, do you need a large phone?

large phone is not for everybody, especially you coming from S10E, S21+(6.7") can be overwhelming, large phone is heavy.

Although it is 25W, but it can beat most of the Chinese phones which have 50W charging rate and below in charging speed. If you say those 65W, 120W fast charge, then they are much more faster.

Samsung 25W charger charges at full speed(25W) most of the time. Their 45W just a little bit faster than 25W for just a few minutes(provided if u charges from 0-100), if you charges from 30-100 then both took the same time to charge.

I think the battery charge cycles mainly contribute to battery degradation.. not really the fast charging.. phone manufacturers will continue developing faster charging.. it is simply unavoidable.. using less than 10w charger nowdays simply outdated.. even if it does contribute to faster deterioration, it is unavoidable.. in fact, some recommended to keep you battery between 15-85%.. don't completely deplete, and don't overcharges.. if you practice overnight charging, your phone actually keep recharging to 100% over and over again overnight

Ok. This is looking good guys! Battery test from Russia. S21 series are Using Exynos 2100, while S20 series are using Exynos990. All phones are tested in 120hz display.

S21+ battery life is 2 hours longer than S20+!  This one alone already convincing enough for to me to switch!

Actually it does not matter much because S21 Ultra native is QHD+ even if the default is set to FHD+ (keyword here is Native)

You are partially correct.

More GPU power required for higher resolution is only true or significant when you play moderate to heavy game titles. For displaying content, it makes negligable differences as modern GPU is very efficient now. Resolution is no longer a major factor dependent on using more GPU power if it just use for displaying static content or video. For example, 10 years ago turning on Anti-aliasing (AA) will impact the game FPS severely. Nowadays turning on AA will only have little FPS drop due to architectural and instructions improvement within the driver and the chip.

Like I have said before in previous post, S20+ have longer battery life due to lower panel resolution. 1080p to 1440p is roughly 1.7x more pixel count. The extra pixel count means more subpixel RGB LED in it. If you wanna know, display panel consumes most of your battery life in a smartphone if you are not playing heavy title games.

Variable refresh rate will only yield power savings if the content display is static (as it will downclock the refresh rate). For people who do benchmark on battery life, the display will be actively used so power savings gain is insignificant here (more applicable here since both S20+ and S20U supports Variable Refresh Rate (VRR).
