one of the main reason i didnt upgrade to note20 is the under performing exynos . Hopefully the new chip catches up to snapdragon, i might buy the s21 ultra or wait for note 21 ( if samsung didnt kill it la )

Wait for the next note - the s21 S pen support & latency is not as fast or smooth compared to an actual note. If you come from note, you will be pissed at the lag.


If you want a good camera, go buy a camera la... no point spending so much on a phone that costs over 4k just for the camera.

anyways, back to topic - for those of you that bought the s21 ( whichever variant ), what case will you be buying ?

Frankly, the gap between samsung and apple flagship when it comes to pictures/portrait - it's negligible .... no point in comparing at all. Where Samsung needs to improve is really the video department, where instead of cramming in a useless 8k 24p, they should improve the overall video output. This is the one thing that i hope samsung can improve quick ( and also allow us to remove all samsung related apps + bixby in the process) .

I'm still using my note 9 , battery tak boleh harap already after 2 years as im a very heavy users ( Bluetooth, GPS, streaming ) but i have to say it's still one of the best phone i've used!! I didnt get the note 20 ultra as the exynos performance is not that great for the asking price....

1. China branded phones have caught up but still not quite there. I can't stand the colour OS being used especially in Oppo phones.
2. samsung video OIS is still not as great as iphone la... let's not kid ourselves here. i actually have to use gimbal to stabilize my video shots on my note 9 yo

Just buy from reliable brands like ANKER, AUKEY , UGREEN + BASEUS. rest i never tried.

Question - what cable are you using ? you have to use those that handle the wattage la ..... and also.... aukey 65w charger only works if it's through their PD output, cannot charge 2 device at 1 time, they will split the 65w to 2 devices instead of 1 .

Yes but ROG3 screen is not nice wei..... if they can copy the vivid colours on a samsung ... i will buy the ASUS ROG. i literally held the rog 3 on my hand and compared it with my note 9, just can't bring myself to seeing the screen on a daily basis.
