What do you mean by the Bluetooth version of the mouse?

It is Connection type: Bluetooth Smart and 2.4GHz wireless connection from what I see in Logitech website.

Normal, testing this and that as its new few days old. Just gonna trash stress test it. Apple may consider replacement unit.

You probably need to check your activity monitor. Highly suspect you are using apps that are not M1 optimised.
I last an entire day of work before charging; almost 15-20 hours screen time depending on how intense my chrome usage is.

My chrome intensity is juggling 2 session windows (different gmails) with average of 10-15 tabs per window.
Many messaging apps & collaboration tools, still getting a lot of juice.

Though I have noticed performance degradation if i go into a cold start from sleep. takes awhile for the mac to "wake up" if everything is open.

Anyone here using external monitor through a dock?

My 24" Dell monitor (P2421D) can only go up to 1920x1080 resolution when connected. Text is not sharp at all too.
It's supposed to be 2560 x 1440. For reference I'm using this dockthis dock.

Hi any traders here can help me with running mt4 on the new M1 cpu? I tried to install the one from XM and felt heat coming from the laptop, when I checked, the CPU was utilizing at 98% and nothing was on the screen. Anyone had similar problem? I read somewhere might need to wait for macos 11.2 or install the current 11.2 beta to run it properly. Betul ke?

Download from APp Store. My MT4 and MT5 works flawlessly. No over heating issue as well.

Me too have problem outputing the displays to my 4K 60hz TV.
Im using USB C hub that can support 4K at 60Hz.
But my MBA can display 4K 30hz only to my tv.

Apparently the latest Big Sur have this problem. Apple known the issues. Lets hope it will be fix in the next updates.

Seems like many have issue with Bluetooth and display. I’m thinking more towards software issue and Apple will release patch soon

Since you're using M1, you can access the iOS apps.
Go to App Store, Type in search engine "MetaTrader 4".
You can see 2 categories - Mac Apps and, iPhone & iPad Apps.
Select the iPhone & iPad Apps, and you shall get it.

I was considering the Mini and Air also. Eventually I settled for Mac mini 16/256.

Then what's your portable solution...? iPad...?

I feel like cancelling my Air and get a Mini...

Can't go wrong with MBA if you are required to travel around to work with it.
Mini only relevant provided you have work in stationary location, or it serve as always-online server that you can access remotely.

Just gonna use my MBPR 15". It's still running OK despite being 7yrs old.

Yes, you won't see it until you searched it. Try search the name first.

If you still don't see it even after you searched it, then i think somewhere is not right.. I can't be sure with this.
