Usually how much is the offer price during sale...? Not per person but the product itself...

Refer to my post here: https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...&#entry99480702

The lowest I've bought at was RM99 for 365 Personal (from SNS Network aka ITWorld) and RM100 for 365 Home (one-off seller at Shopee).

Any ideas if GPU panic can also be caused by swollen battery...?

I was thinking if a new battery can prevent further GPU panics then maybe I can stall my MBA purchase and wait for the upcoming MBP 14/16 instead...
*
I don't think so. My MBP 15" Mid 2010 had the GPU panics after 1yr 6 mths. No Applecare but luckily Apple had a quality program for it. Motherboard was replaced for free and still OK till now.

Same Mid 2010 MBP 15"... GPU panic in 2014 about 1 year after AppleCare expiry... bising Apple to change board for free... Now it seems the problem is back.

Don't know why after remove swollen battery I cannot reproduce the panic anymore despite being on dedicated graphics...

Perhaps can consider to contact dealer directly to get physical stock in your scenario.
Should be receiving yours very soon! I got mine the next 2 working days after I received the e_invoice.

That's what I did. I can't take the waiting game risk because my travel date is fixed already.
So, I just pulled the trigger yesterday.
I go with the base model MBA.
I got it from Switch.
For those who need zero% installment plan, they got you covered. But it is based on your max credit limit. I also use my maybank treats point.

0% installment means the bank will still DEDUCT the total price initially right?
But they will charge it monthly?

Example: MBA M1 base model RM4,500.
I take 12 month installment: monthly is just RM375

But in my credit card info, the bank actually already deduct that RM4,500 but it won’t show up in your statement.
Rather, you see your cc balance is already reduced from your overall limit (eg. Limit RM10,000, minus RM4,500 becomes RM5,500).

My theory is correct ya? hmm.gif

Yes. The CC balance is reduced with the full price. But after you pay the monthly RM375, it will add RM375 to the CC balanced.
So after the first month your CC balance should become RM5,500+RM375. Another month add another RM375..

Yes, it isn't really theory but a simple calculation for that. Basically what the bank is doing is granting you credit based on your credit card's credit limit. Of course, the bank makes money from the merchant, in this case, it would be Switch.

Hi guys, wanna check with sifu who are utilizing Time Machine from your M1 MBA.

Referring to screenshot below, did any of you experience this issue when trying to access Time Machine backups dated back before the M1 Macbooks?

P/S:
Restarted my Time Capsule by turning OFF the power and turned it back on after couple of minutes does resolve the issue. Glad to have my Time Machine and Time Capsule back working as it should.
Saved me countless of times before.

Do you have to take up their protection plan offer in order to be eligible for the 0% installment plan?

Anyone here has any recommendation for MBA M1 case that wont block hub? I couldn't find it anywhere in taobao nor shoppee icon_question.gif

I get hard case from Amazon, fast delivery for urgent orders (paid extra). Didnt block any ports.

Am surprised by this. I thought it's a blanket must for all installment plans (12 months or more) to get their protection plan. Looks like I am wrong.
Thanks for sharing this. smile.gif

Maybe you’re thinking of Machines. They would always force their add ons if you want to pay in instalments. Switch is quite nice as I’ve always bought from them and can always get 0% instalments with no conditions.
