I thought i heard Tim Cook says available globally during the event, but Malaysia until today still not part of 'global' in Apple's terminology.

Anxious about the review of this, and i almost bought it the day it was announced. The only thing holding me back was the "Unavailable currently."

Placed my order for 16GB RAM for 512GB SSD version.

Estimated delivery from 4th to 11th January.

Doubt the accuracy of this date coz my iphone12Pro arrived 2 weeks earlier from given date.

You may cancel the order before it ship out, then replace the new order. Of course, your shipping date will be pushed out. I think its okay rather than get the lower SSD storage size that's not suitable for your usage.

Yes, i didnt notice the price different initially, until they emailed out the order confirmation. Upon checked through only realized i get lower price.

In this case, you may place new order. When you get this wrong spec one, just resell it off under sealed unit. I believe a lot ppl are willing to grab it from you rather than wait another 2-3 more weeks for Apple to deliver.
Oh wait, are you talking about me didnt upgrade the SSD? 512GB is sufficient for me at this point of time, so i opted for this.

Bro, since haven't ship out, cancel your order and replace with 512 la.. Might as well go for the base 512GB with 8 cores GPU, coz you're upgrading RAM to 16GB anyway.
Delivery date difference not more than 2 weeks bah, its acceptable to wait for it, rather than sticking with 256GB for few years. Well, unless you are thicked pocket and changing in short term, then its not smth that should be worry about.

It happens automatically. I only realized the extra discounts after received their order confirmation email.

From my experience of buying through Apple Online Store, they will email you the receipt upon confirming delivered to your doorstep. Dated on the day of you receiving the parcel, or some times +-2 days. You definitely wont be able to declare the tax for Y2020 reduction for this purchase.

I don’t recall the right numbers reflected on Apple Online page prior to payment steps is same as this that they emailed to me. Placed the order on 12th, but I only realised this on 13th upon recheck back the email out of excitements.

my MBA havent arrive but i already received my sleeve for this MBA.i bought Uniq Dfender 13”, solid like heck for minimalist.

Yes, actually perfectly fit with my 2013 13.3” MBA, which have slightly larger footprint.

No need mouse. I do my Illustrators and photoshop, mini clip video editings all on my trackpad. Not to mention some office documentations as well. Mouse, its so yester-decade.

Congratulation. There’s a learning curve for people who migrated from Windows to Mac. Trust me, once u learned the hotkeys and how this OS function, u’ll never be back to Windows. Only time u’ll use back to Windows is because ur corporate software only available for Windows.

Once you go Mac, you’ll never look back!

Trust me, this device can last u for another decade. I started with Macbook Air 2013 (max upgrades) that still serve me until today. Waiting for my M1 to replace its position.

The rumored M1X might not intended for MBA. Its rumored to cater on higher end computer like the 16" MBP, top notch iMac and/or anything on par to this.
It possessed more performance cores and MBA is not intended for this category of performance, yet.

Apple have brought the MBA to another level of performance with this M1, its very unlikely for them to bump it again before the annual refreshment period. Seems like you'll have to wait for another 10-11 months. Well, why not if you can wait, since Apple first release is always public testing for the next generation to be implemented with stronger performance, less bugs, and always with more new features that is jaw dropping.
