Look like don't have LR44 rechargeable battery .... If anyone know please tell us XD.

LR44 need 4 . 2 for controller 2 for car.

well don worry too much about the batteries, it lasts quite a long time, mine hasnt been changed for weeks already and i play it quite often. it is slow already, but it still moves!

Aiya that Q steer, got nice nice set sure will be RM99 besides those shop sell cheaper abit.
Those road accessory very nice, especially the corner turning that thing ( don't know call what ). I thought is small small, for me is quite big 1 .
Somemore got gear to change, after change really fast like hell... ( personal think )

Can't take video ah, my V-cam still at my brother there.
If someone have please take video show show, maybe can add more player .
Now still thinking how to drift that q- steer.

Fast fast go.. Jusco Sunway.. 20% off all the Qsteer sets. Damn.. so those RM99 sets are now RM79.20 only. I couldn't resist, so I bought the red RX-8 for 20% off.

Then back home, i unplugged the back and cut off the front part to remove the body from the rx-8. I took a working LED and started to touch here and there ahha.. then it lighted up without any shortcircuits or burning smoke.

It's quite easy.. as you look at both sides.. the metal plate from the battery compartment goes all the way up to the bottom of the circuit board. So just by looking at this, you can identify which point to solder on the top of the circuit board.

The LED will turn on when u turn on the switch at the bottom. I thought the LED will light up only when you move the car or turn the steering. Hmm, this surely will eat up the battery faster. Probably need to read more on how to solder it so that it will light up only when u press the controller.

So for most of the Qsteer cars, is the Reebok R34 is the fastest one or the Black Mustang?

yes. Sure will take pics when i'm done wif the mods. But i need to buy a new soldering iron and visit the craft shop 1st in puchong . My old pateri already rusted bad. Visit the craft shop to find clear rods.. transparent rods.. for my plan to work

Added on October 8, 2007, 2:03 pmdid you try it with a 50sen coin? put it add the front so the weight should be around 75% at e front.. i managed to drift.. ish with that style, where my tyres point one way, but it moves the other. i don't have the spin tyres so i covered my normal ones with tape.. was fun haha.

But is it can drift in small circle, br0ther9630 ? I have try on 50sen, 20sen somemore 50sen+20sen, but no so nice to drift. But i saw that youtube 1 drift like hell.....
Drift, ya is your tyre point to 1 side but car is going to turn other side.

If can, br0ther9630 shot some video show us ??? I never play a remote control car that can drift XD. Besides those expensive tamiya remote control car, no $ to play that. That why i need to learn to drift by q-steer.

no oh, not small circle, ok ok... my house the floor wooden tiles, so i drift there. depending on car the drift a bit different. i use my evo, can can lah, the tyre pointing one way, then the car turns the other direction and the rear wheels spinning. that why "drift-ish"

i've videoed some drifting before (havent post anywhere yet), just one problem... in the video it doesn't really show that its drifting haha.. me also got your same fate, i nvr really played a true drifting RC haha... mahal lah! oh yeah, if an RC wants to drift properly it need 4WD/AWD.

can give the link to that drifting qsteer you're talking about?

The most drift that i see on q-steer.

i went to sunway yesterday. hehe... i saw another new box set, One Mat Set. comes with one big mat, 8 curbs, high speed gears, spinning tires(for dirfting) for RM99.90 before discount. one car + on controller.

reebok also have there. Rm69.90

I like the one mat set, because of many thing inside there
The spinning tires hard to drift but for spinning is ok, 360ēC spin~~~.

Hmm maybe keep some $$ buy evo set and gtr set
