yeah, just been around midvalley today.. got to say the new wing looks nice. anyway was walking around jusco and i found that they've stocked the Reebok Skyline.. it has the HIGH SPEED motor, unlike the Chevrolet which has high speed GEARS... i wonder what would happen if you coulped the two... heheh

well don worry too much about the batteries, it lasts quite a long time, mine hasnt been changed for weeks already and i play it quite often. it is slow already, but it still moves!

Added on October 8, 2007, 2:03 pmdid you try it with a 50sen coin? put it add the front so the weight should be around 75% at e front.. i managed to drift.. ish with that style, where my tyres point one way, but it moves the other. i don't have the spin tyres so i covered my normal ones with tape.. was fun haha.

no oh, not small circle, ok ok... my house the floor wooden tiles, so i drift there. depending on car the drift a bit different. i use my evo, can can lah, the tyre pointing one way, then the car turns the other direction and the rear wheels spinning. that why "drift-ish"

i've videoed some drifting before (havent post anywhere yet), just one problem... in the video it doesn't really show that its drifting haha.. me also got your same fate, i nvr really played a true drifting RC haha... mahal lah! oh yeah, if an RC wants to drift properly it need 4WD/AWD.

can give the link to that drifting qsteer you're talking about?

got one time i dropped my corvette and the body came off. it looks very easy to stick on a choro-q body haha. i wanna try lah, i'll post some photos when i do hehe. somebody get the reebok skyline and see whether its really fast?

hey guys! you all know that Qsteer are imported and distributed by Litt Takk right? Well, Litt Takk's wearhouse is located near CQC Giant/ Puspakom along the Connaught highway. See here, that place during time to time holds a wearhouse sale... so in theory we should be able to get qsteers at very cheap prices, and i hope the latest stocks too.

but there's one problem, i'm not sure exactly which date would the wearhouse sale be on... it'll be a shame to miss it. i know there will be one this coming December. Hopefully one of those who reads this can post the exact date it'll be on, or help find out...



oh yeah i notice something about older stock qsteer and the newer ones.

1. the PCB color is different, and maybe the placement of the circuit
2. the rear tyre width for newer models are thinner than older ones
- go compare the C3 chevrolet with say... a skyline, or rx-8. or any model from the single pack or normal pack which has the TX (transmitter)
3. the Reebok Skyline rear wheels have "RIMS WITH HOLLOW SPOKES"

if can't find in Jusco, than also can find in toys'r'us. carefull the packaging when buying... people tend to steal qsteer these days...

DRIFTING VIDEO haha! i found some time and created this drifting video.. my drifting kinda sucks but its proof of concept that the qsteer can drift and anyone can do it.. just wonder whether its clear enough to be seen o not
