guys when fill the IC for search need include the "-" or not

Nope

There is a bank draft 7/8 years ago that's unclaimed but it requires the bank draft document which i don't recall or retrive. Anyway to get around this?

just did for my deceased mom recently and will share the procedure here as it'll take you about 2 days to complete it
note that her unclaimed money is less than RM 2k

1. Birth Cert (must show relationship), Death Cert and heir IC have to bring to JPN to be certified true copy
2. Heir bank statement (some banks charge RM 10 for CTC but luckily my RM did mine FOC)
3. UMA-8 - Bon Tanggung Rugi have to get RM10 setem hasil from post office then bring to LHDN for stamping
4. Both UMA-8 forms, Bon Tanggung Rugi and Borang Akuan have to be signed by Comm of Oath under the saksi part at the bottom
5. Did mine at UTC Pudu, no queue and the procedure is extremely fast if your document is complete

my honest opinion is if the amount is too small just forget it, not worth the hassle

I don't know how accurate is this. I found an old dividend cheque when I was cleaning last weekend (dated 2011, pbb cheque), but when I check the portal, it says I've no unclaimed money. Just a small cheque so I won't bother but I am curious if everything is reported or there are many things still fall between the cracks.

Tiada rekod dijumpai bagi no. pengenalan xxxxxxxxxxxx.

Kudos for thread starter. Ive created an account long time ago but being reminded again after looking at this thread early this year.

Today i had received RM1k plus in my bank account exactly 31 working after online submission

I believed they had made it easier to sent all the documentation needed and my approval (of documentation) was done less than 30 minutes and approval of transfer less than 24 hours. Only the money is about a month to be credited.

Anyone know what's the steps to claim Bank Draf?

I don't have any of the required documentation:

Either two (2) out of three (3) of the following documents:

i. The ORIGINAL banker's cheque/bank draft/cashier's order;

ii. The ORIGINAL customer's copy of the Remittance Application Form for the banker's cheque/bank draft/cashier's order with the clear banking transaction information printed on the copy;

iii. The ORIGINAL confirmation letter from the bank which surrendered the Unclaimed Moneys bearing the details in a prescribed format.

Yes, I managed to get back my unclaimed money within 1 month from date of submission thru Jabatan Akauntan Negara link.

both ic format also good to try... since birth cert also need to try... or any form of identification number u can think of

Can i apply WTD on behalf of my parent using my account? Or each individual has to register an acc for each unclaimed money application?

Also, if unclaimed money is under my parent's old IC number, can i upload new ic, bank statement with new ic? As old ic no longer available?

Hi all, anyone have claim for joint saving account before? In their FAQ:

Bagi Tuntutan WTD untuk Akaun Bersama (Joint Account) yang mempunyai syarat operasi tandatangan seorang/bersama, tuntutan hendaklah dibuat secara bersama oleh semua pemegang akaun.

Not sure what do it mean by this? Is this mean both person must create egumis account and submit online, and both must write credit to the same (one person) account?
