You can try repair the issue by uninstall update Google app in play store.
Then go to home menu, click the microphone icon and set up okay Google.

See how it turns out for you. I am using this method everytime okay Google no response after update.

ok after reading 80% of the discussion here, I am still skeptical. C716 65" is RM4199 like everyone mentioned, I heard many online reviewers say that HDR, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision have little to no effect at such low peak brightness and you have to nit pick to actually see the differences between HDR and DV content so i'm going to disregard those "features". That being said, would all of you still go for C716 or a Sony/LG/Samsung?(Mainly for the brand name reliability)

More specifically,
LG 70" UN7300 at RM3999 (300-350 nits+- brightness, IPS panel with Magic Remote)
Sony 65" X8000H at RM3800 (400-530 nits+- brightness, IPS panel with overall better picture quality than LG)
Samsung 65" TU8000/TU8500 at RM 3800(300 nits+- brightness, VA panel so better contrast ratio than both above)

Based on Rtings.com all 3 brand models above lose to the TCL series 5 but we can't definitively say C715/6 has the same picture quality as series 5.
So with HDR/10+ and Dolby Vision being disregarded (at least to me) would you guys still go for the TCL C715/6?

I bought my TV because of the price of QLED TV. At the time I bought C716 50in, RM2199. The cheapest QLED TV at the time. Furthermore, it's an Android TV.

I don't like Tizen and LG software as it restricted app installation.

So, if I have the money: I choose Sony 65" X8000H at RM3800 from your list because of the Android TV and brand. LG and Samsung I am not interested because of their software.

Peak brightness is a "thing" nowadays which every reviewer talks about...to achieve better HDR image. But the ability for a TV to produce the brightest specular highlights at a very short period is going to cost you more money...a lot more money.
For general purpose viewing TV...just get a reasonable priced TV with a good contrast and able to produce wider colour gamut...which I opt for TCL Qled TV.

Unless you always watch 4k UHD movies with 1000 to 4000 nits peak brightness graded movies (which only a handful of movies have such property), then you can get a better TV like Sony A90J.

I was considering the X80H and TCL C716.
In the end, I bought Sony because it's cheaper by RM 300.

I personally don't know much about their software so i'll probably do fine with any and thank you for the recommendation.

After reading another forum, many ppl racun say X9000H is far better than X8000H but the price bump is RM2k+- (out of my rm4k+- budget, can stretch to rm5k if x90h really worth)
Do you guys think with the new J(2021) models launching anytime soon, the H series will get a further price cut? I saw shopee seller "kronoshop" sold out 65" X90H for rm5098, wondering if other places will drop to this price soon.

Harvey Norman and Sen Heng current price for 65" X9000H is RM6499+- which is higher than 2020 November sale time(around 5.9k)

Btw sitting distance from TV to eye is 12ft. and planning to keep the TV for a very very long time(5y++)

That is 2 different range i believe.

The IQ of C716 is amazing and the interface is very user friendly...

Frankly speaking, at this price point, C716 is the best your money could buy.

The main reason for me not choosing Sony X8000H is they are using IPS panel for the model...

I concur.. my mom is watching tv a minimum 6-7 hours a day. We are using an old 50inch panasonic plasma. Serve us very well indeed. Will be getting the TCL Oled once the plasma retires. smile.gif and perhaps another one for the boy's gaming/leisure.
