I installed Windscribe and NordVPN to watch Disney+. It required TV to use Wifi instead of LAN for VPN to connect.

I have this (in picture) issue for my 50 C716 TV. It's very visible when background colour is grey or dark grey. It's look like dirty/smudge.

Can someone help point out what is the problem? I already email to TCL about this but no reply yet.

Update to V606, the defect still visible. I think my unit has hardware issue.

I thought V606 has enable Dolby Atmos on Netflix. But still no Dolby Atmos icon.

I thought I am the only one having this issue.

I have contacted V Commerce through WhatsApp number they gave me. They informed me that factory itself will contact me soon. But I don't when.

If you have sound bar or AV system, better use official version 606.

Alhamdulillah, my tv has been fixed (technician came on Monday, returned to me today). Panel issue. They replaced the whole panel.

When asked the technician, he said that this issue is rare.

Please get QLED as the picture is very awesome, especially when content has HDR+ or Dolby Vision.

BOLD Part: TCL technician come and collect the tv, factory at Port Klang replace the panel. Technician send the TV back at my place. Turn ON and confirm that everything is good. 3 days total (2 1/2 days without TV)

1. I use recommended setting as guide by rtings.com for TCL TV which is Movie mode

3. To sideload non playstore app, you have to download app call Downloader by AFTVnews or Send file to TV, enable app can install in Setting>Security.



3.1 I use Downloader to search, download and install app. Then I install Aptoide TV to install app that suitable for Android TV, such as Disney+ and XCIPTV Player.
4. If you don't have Dolby ATMOS compatible AV or sound bar, you can't experience the sound. However, app on TV as for now, only Prime Video, Jack Ryan, Episode 1 will deliver Dolby ATMOS.

4.2 I bought local Dolby ATMOS 5.1.2 sound bar made by A&S during 11.11 sale and I bought new Chromecast with Google TV which can play Netflix with Dolby Vision & Dolby ATMOS (selected titles) even I'm using 10Mbps Unifi Lite.

use ARC HDMI on TV to ARC HDMI on sound bar (if available).

Open TV setting, the button on TCL remote. Select System>T-Link, switch ON.
Or, Android setting>Input>HDMI CEC, select ON.

Your connection is correct for optical. Since your sound bar doesn't have ARC port.

Advantage of using ARC is you can use tv remote to control sound bar volume and ON/OFF sound bar.

It really depends on you. Samsung with 5 years warranty with that price is good. TCL only offer 2 years warranty.

Only drawback of using Samsung is the software. That's my opinion.

I managed to get my screen replacement due some issue.

I am on V606 and not experienced any issue for YouTube 4k60 fps, Costa Rica video.

But since I am on Unifi Lite, 10Mbps video will pause before resume.
