I have this (in picture) issue for my 50 C716 TV. It's very visible when background colour is grey or dark grey. It's look like dirty/smudge.

Can someone help point out what is the problem? I already email to TCL about this but no reply yet.

My latest firmware updated through network V395.

I have played monitor color test, it's really visible on dark grey or grey.

Try again updated through network, V606 supose to be there.
I manually (local update) updated to V616.

Update to V606, the defect still visible. I think my unit has hardware issue.

I thought V606 has enable Dolby Atmos on Netflix. But still no Dolby Atmos icon.

Yea, Netflix are still 5.1 sound.

The pre-requisites for Dolby Atmos on Netflix

✔ LG Oled-TV (2017 model or later)
✔ Sony Bravia Android-TV (2018 model or later)
✔ Apple TV 4K (from tvOS 12)
✔ Xbox One, Xbox One S and Xbox One X.
✔ Pixela 4K Smart Tuner.
✔ Windows-10-App (Windows 10 from RS3 Build 16299)

Read somewhere that is getting soon.

I bought TCL 716 50' 2 months ago, there is no defect when I received the unit. But now have this issue rclxub.gif
Not sure whether is a firmware issue or not, tried v616 but still the same...
I will try to contact TCL these few days

Yea, strange issue you 2 guys have.
Didn't see this before on any forums.
You have not much as smaelz83 and just appear after 2 months of using.
Can also try to run screen test ,links posted above.

No expert here.
Maybe you try google for "cloudy screen on LED TV"

it seem like problem related to the backlight, some may go away with screen backlight settings.

I have contacted V Commerce through WhatsApp number they gave me. They informed me that factory itself will contact me soon. But I don't when.

90 % of these problems are LED screen defect/ faulty . nod.gif
the screen need to change.
do update us when the fix is found ..
