yaya.. that's why there is a link to instructions to upgrade it to winxp.. it works perfectly for me for 2 weeks ad.. all drivers installed with no hassle.. you should try it.. but before that plz make your own recovery dvd in case you want vista back..

Added on January 17, 2008, 12:52 pmalso touch screen is much more responsive in xp.. you can enjoy all features of vista using the same xp os.. but you'll need additional softwares.. you may refer to the link which i posted before in this thread..

Morning friends...

i have a few problems/questioned. I bought TX1316 last night.

Firstly,The brochure said it has bluetooth but i could not see any indication of bluetooth at the lappy. tried to bluetooth with my dopod but the window indicate that there is no bluetooth device.

secondly, how can i know that this model is TX1316. at the lappy i can see "HP Pavillion tx1000.

So... what should i do... BTW i upgraded to 2G RAM. still kinda slow too. & I'm not a computer geek or know how. Pls enlighten me. Thanks

Hello everyone. I just bought tx1316 like few weeks ago. And like few days ago, i feel like my laptop cant detect the webcam. I signed in messenger and wanted to start a video call but the webcam doesn't work. Then i restart my laptop and somehow it works again..... And it's working sometimes and cannot detect sometimes. When it cannot detect, and i open HP webcam program, there's nothing coming out. Is there anything wrong with my webcam? cause i brought it back to the place i bought it and the people there tested it and said it's ok. The 'cannot detec' problem didnt showed up at that time. =.=
Anyone having the same problem?

i had the same problem a while back, it's coz the webcam driver hp provided has issues... i resolved it by downloading the acer webcam drivers which work perfect as both acer and hp webcams are manufactured by the same company, Chicony. you can get em here:

u dont have to uninstall, i simply installed it over the original drivers and it worked fine... and iirc the hp drivers from the hp website didnt work for me either as my webcam still had problems being detected, especially when msn and skype were both on...
