The Mini would be a nice fone to get for flying my DJI Mavic drone.
Using the 11 Pro Max now...it barely fits within the claws of the DJI controller. |

I wish Touch ID makes a comeback. With how masks are almost compulsory these days, Face ID becomes a hinder when you have to type your passcode every time you need to unlock

OLED screens yes for all iPhones this year.
Touch ID unfortunately no, it won’t happen. The design and specs for this year’s iPhones would have been finalized a year ago, way before the pandemic strikes. So Face ID and the notch is here to stay for now. |

Like I said the iphone 12 this year is more worth it to get than iphone 11 last year now. Becos it is a still considered as a revolutionary iPhone since it has redesign and 5G and OLED. Ok well, that's a big point here that EarPods and adapter is not included!!! Means that we have to purchase another 200+ for an adapter which we can't use the old one cause it's type C-lightning. Good job apple im gonna throw up

Hey all, quick 3 questions for iPhone 12 mini which I’m interested in getting:
1) I can accept not having earpods but there’s no adapter at all! How do I charge my phone with that cable (USB-C) given? Can I use back the norma cable & adapter of my iphone 7? If not, which apple adapter should we buy that will specifically suit the iPhone 12 mini and its included cable? 2) Is the trade-in program only available for US? When I tried using the US site there’s an option to trade in iPhone 7 for $100, but such option not shown in Apple MY. 3) Is 128gb or 256gb better for this model? I had an extremely bad storage experience with my 32gb iPhone 7. I’m assuming a cam & iOS with higher specs/greater ver will eat up much more spaces. Is 256gb worth it? Thanks in advance! |

Thanks in advance! 2) Our local retailers do have their own trade in program but bear in mind they are just authorized resellers, so their offer won't be as good as what is offered by Apple themselves. 3) Depending on how long you intend to keep the phone. if it's 3 years or more, I'd say go for the 256GB. For the charger u can always go for branded third party one, could be cheaper. As for 5g, now it's too early, almost everyone here will upgrade yearly or every 2 years. So I pretty much guarantee by the time 5g official arrive here, u all will already change phone.

really tempted by the iPhone 12 mini
all comes down to hands on experience if its screen estate is really smol, then the regular 12 is the better option. both devices are segmented into an obvious way. you want a smol powerful phone for social and connectivity? get the mini however if you do everything inside a phone like how you operator a normal laptop, regular 12 would be the better option and i dont see the need of Pro. nobody should go for Pro. unless they want to take advantage of that camera, in way they execute it better than Xperia 1ii. that's marketing for you |

After much pondering, decide to go for 12 over 12 Pro. I don't use telephoto on my X, like at all so the camera upgrade not that huge for me. Design wise both 12 and 12 Pro are good. I suppose I go for 12 one...then save up for the next big change.
Magsafe case and the wallet are very interesting though. More money to be spent lol. |

seriously the price gap between 12 vs 12 pro/12 pro max are not significantly big. need to note that 12 starts at 64gb while 12 pro/12 pro max starts at 128gb also.

Cant wait to get ip12 mini. Upgrading from ip6s. I’ve waited long for apple to release smaller/compact phone. We have yet to know the release or pre-order date right? I want to ask about the charger since it is not being included. I have a 29w usb-c power adaptor for 2016 12” macbook. Can this be use to charge ip12? I think ip12pro is better buy because of 6gb of ram compare to 4gb on ip12. More ram equal to much longer support for ios. Plus its only 800 bucks more from the ip12 (128gb ver). Classic case with 6 vs 6s, later model until now still support ios14 because of an extra ram it got. If you buy with your telco, ip12pro is a no brainer choice.

No issues I also have an older iPad 12W adapter so I for one am not triggered about the lack of charging brick from the packaging this round, especially since Apple offset the removal of those without substantially increasing the prices of the phones even with 5G. |

Dolby Atmos on a phone is a joke and a stupid marketing gimmick. There is no way in hell you can get Atmos effect from a bloody phone speaker. Dolby Vision is more plausible, though I'd be hard press to find anyone noticing the difference on a small screen. Video recording DV however is anther story. Might make a bit of difference during playback on a DV enabled TV, but again recording done on a small sensor camera phone, don't expect a big difference either... AhJian liked this post

if you're using icloud for storing your photo, 64gb is enough
because 20GB photo in icloud and your phone is just only keep the lower resolution type until u go to view it. Ur phone will auto load from icloud full resolution on the fly. |

I'm using Celcom EasyPhone plan (XS) and my contract will be over soon so I can switch soon.
Might go for 12 instead of the Pro because despite the many features included, the price difference is another issue. |

Had X, then skipped XS because it was literally same phone, then early this year upgraded to 11, after few months with 11 i decided that 11 pro should be better, since size matters for me. Got 11 pro and you know, not getting 12 for sure.
Im actually apple fanboy and havent any android for years but i have to say im staying with my 11 pro for one more year. Besides camera there is nothing new. 5G in my country will be probably next year... Okey, design, but since im a case lover its also not so important. Little bit disappointed. |

I'm currently using iPhone 7 32GB on IOS 14. This coming November the phone will be 4 years.
Not sure if I should change to iPhone 12 or not. Of course there's lots of advantage, like bigger screen, better battery life, latest techs but I can still answer calls and reply to Whatsapp without lag even after all these years. Not sure putting RM4099 for phone + RM100 for charger and another RM100~200 for tempered glass and case would justify during this pandemic situation. Heart says want, but brain says not rational. It has other free gifts unlike buying directly from the official Apple site. Plus you don't have to "fight" for it on the official release date in Malaysia (which we don't know when as of now). Just wondering, if i buy the iphone from allithypermarket. Can i still sent to the authorise reseller/service provider such as machine or switch for repairs?
