5G and OLED laugh.gif
Force to not include charger and headphone, else price even higher laugh.gif

i think the 12 pricing bit higher due to use of OLED vs LCD
Pro / Pro Max slightly cheaper by RM200 could be remove charge/earpod
the 128GB remain same price since is double capacity

my 2 cents biggrin.gif

Hey all, quick 3 questions for iPhone 12 mini which I’m interested in getting:

1) I can accept not having earpods but there’s  no adapter at all! How do I charge my phone with that cable (USB-C) given? Can I use back the norma cable & adapter of my iphone 7? If not, which apple adapter should we buy that will specifically suit the iPhone 12 mini and its included cable?

2) Is the trade-in program only available for US? When I tried using the US site there’s an option to trade in iPhone 7 for $100, but such option not shown in Apple MY.
3) Is 128gb or 256gb better for this model? I had an extremely bad storage experience with my 32gb iPhone 7. I’m assuming a cam & iOS with higher specs/greater ver will eat up much more spaces. Is 256gb worth it?
Thanks in advance!

1) can charge but the cable comes with iphone 12 support fast charge PD, provided you have PD charger adapter which no longer include (last year iphone 11 include charger adapter is not support fast charge, just normal 5V1A brick laugh.gif)

2) never have such option for Malaysia

3) is up to you if 128GB (3-4x 32GB), depends on you take a lot of photo/video or not

Thanks for the valuable insight!
How can we get this "PD charger adapter"?
And if I don't care about fast charge PD, what are the alternative? I can be satisfied if it can charge just 10-20% faster than my current iPhone 7.

PD charger quite common nowadays due to laptop using type c port to charge all are PD, anyway u can use back normal charger as usual

Also, is 5G worth it in Malaysia? Do we have the infrastructures necessary to support 5G in most places?
Completely new to this technology here so feel free to give me a lecture wink.gif

to me is not mature, i believe Malaysia telco not deploying mmWave 5G, all are just sub-6Ghz, which it actually doesnt seems much speed different compare to LTE in real life, most telco showing ideal condition where the 5G node beside the tested phone device when running speed test, latency probably something worth noticing than speed for sub-6Ghz 5G

i think u got it worng bro..

Fast-charge capable: Up to 50% charge in 30 minutes with 20W adapter or higher (sold separately) according to apple.
*
no wrong... even you try with charger adaptor 60W also max 20W, the device itself should only draw 20W max, you have 200W charger still 20W the device will draw, so it is up to 50% charge in 30 minutes, no mater how many watts charge you use, anything above 20W, same 30minutes to 50%

but i doubts Apple change it to max 20W, i believe it is still 18W max, just they are selling 20W charger now... because if like previous gen 18W compare to 20W, to 50% could takes lesser than 30 minutes

anything have to wait someone get iPhone 12 on hand and try out smile.gif
