My current concern is with my mini is battery optimization when idle/stanby mode. I notice even when on idle the battery seem to deplete a lot even without usage.

Example, charge to 97% last night at 10pm. And went to bed leaving data on etc. No WiFi connection, and when check this morning at 630 it drains to 67%.

Even my 3 year old pixel with Android 11, manage to drop 11% from 90% to 79% with the same time.

It really sucks knowing even you are not using the phone at all, the battery drains like water overnight. I'm at 91% battery health capacity at the moment.

Yea the battery on iPhone 12's are tricky... did you turn off background refresh etc? or try to go into airplane mode and see how much it drains overnight..

Maybe your data signal is weak which causing your battery to drain faster. Leave your wifi on if your wifi signal is strong. Do another test with wifi on.

i'm on 90% health for a 7 month phone, I guess genshin really takes it's toll on my mini.

and my battery drain is actually normal, had you checked in battery setting which app drained those juices on idle?

Should be ok, 15.1 fixes many bugs etc, and most importantly no battery drain issues…

i had the worst battery in ios15.0.1, background app refresh + Waze was 100% on all the time. I thought it was a feature.
I turned it off for Waze and everything improved a lot. Back to normal.
