O well. What is more sad is from Kuching speed test to server in Kuching. Hopefully over time they will improve, otherwise after contract can jump again to others.

If from Kuching, you will be route from your home to KL and back, that's why it so high. Only TM's Unifi provide direct connection within same server ™. Like you are using Unifi and selected TM Kuching server as test server, you will get low ping. But our local contents mostly from KL. So no point also. 😆

Wonderring if it is the same for those from other states as well? All need to root to KL and back?

Yes. Only TM route to local exchange and out. All other ISP using TM infra will be route back to their ISP exchange which located in KL.

1 word, slow.

slow slow slow!

shouldve just went ahead and terminate and ask them lay new line rather than transfer.

newly jump onboard digi fibre, but the experience is already 0/10.

their speed is just pathetic.

they will contact you via whatsapp, and is sent and reply by human and NOT auto, what that means is, they WILL NOT reply you immediately, and then they will reply u and to check further on other stuffs..then take a while or so to reply ...

Transfer done on 22nd nov , replied to tell them transfer done they didnt even bother to acknowledge, no update from them at all even till now!
QUOTE(YoungMan @ Nov 28 2021, 09:29 AM)
I agree transfer from other ISP is slow. I did my transfer on 16 Nov and only got reply to set appointment on 24 Nov. And later I called 100 and found out that TM only approve the transfer request on 24 Nov, so TM is also partly to be blame.
Assuming you are transfering from TM, if you terminate then TM will again take some time to clear the line before Digi can come in to install.
*
Owh, really slow ah?, mine not transfer, register new account, let see how many days it will take for them complete the process...

Register new account - should be contacted by Digi Fibre whatsapp within 48 hours working day (usuallybot, dont expect human reply), then installation within a week.
My case -> Wed register, Fri contacted, next Wed installed

I decided to take risk on the tempting price and hope no issue for these 2 contract years

Hi there guys, currently considering 2 offers

1. Digi 300Mbps RM100 (current Digi 90 user)
2. Unifi 300Mbps RM129

Unifi I was offered at the counter recently, so wondering if it's worth saving the RM30 and going with Digi, or sticking with Unifi and taking their offer.

thought if digi will route via sg first then to kl..well at least that's the case when using the data .. tempting to get digi to replace my unifi but then read bout the tech support if your line down, TAT is around 1 week...

If Unifi is good, Digi 99.99% will be good, as it ride on TM infra...

Lets come to a summary, Digi's price is more tempting than others - Unifi, Maxis, Celcom (current moment for those ride on TM).
Only thing is, u have to take ur risk on the slower TAT, i.e. 1 week compare to Unifi which is 1-3 days.

If u can accept price > TAT/touchwood no issue, then Digi best for now
If u aim for fast TAT, then go back to Unifi, as Maxis & Celcom sure have longer TAT also

TAT = turn around time? TAT for what? After sales service?

Turnaround time for should there is any issue, how long will they come over to solve it.
TAT for installation shall not be a main factor right? its a one time off

I see no harm to jump over since you are already on Digi postpaid 90, unless you have plan to change your postpaid soon.

Anything that ride on TM's infra will have the same fate, in fact this words has been use over and over again to threaten when people want to switch out to Celcom/Digi/Maxis. So far using Unifi for 3 years, no problem with support. Now switch over to Digi, hopefully will be the same smooth sailing for the next 2 years.

Thank you for your Digi Fibre registration.

We are as disappointed as you are that your Digi Fibre could not be successfully installed due to infrastructure readiness at your address.

We will liaise with the Service Partner to expedite the infrastructure readiness at your address.

You may resubmit a new application on the infrastructure readiness at the Digi Outlet you applied or via Digi website @ https://web.digi.com.my/digihome/area.html if you did not hear from us within 45 days.

We hope to serve you in the future and thanks you for your wonderful support!

Thank you!

Getting this from digi....hmm

Just realize Digi's API will return the infrastructure used by the location

TM means Telekom Malaysia
TDC means Time DotCom
