Hmm it had been two weeks since i submitted and sign the application form but no news from Affin bank...
Asked the agent but was told the normal procedure would take 3-4 weeks to proceed

Yes, I changed last time. Initially they not allow to change statement date, the approval date will be statement date. The way they handled it quite rigid.

I submitted documents to agent on this Monday, check eccris and ivr show no record yet. Ask agent why the system no record, he said no that fast, need 14 working days. That is long long time to wait.

Submitted all my personal documents on 8th September. Today is 25th September and it is still processing.

I thought Maybank is the worst bank when come to processing card application until Affin come along.

There is a saying, there is no worst but worse.

Hmm actually I think this is normal processing time for most Malaysia bank, but since there are some people here feedback that they get the approval within a week...
Maybe currently there are too many application and they are overloaded

mine apply 11/9 today receive card. no sms receive regarding approve or not .. bank call to collect card. activate there and register online banking.

I applied on 4th... approved between 15 to 17. Card belum datang. Sms tarak. Me sad.

I think i got used to uob, sc, citi speed in approving cards. Oh well.

some previous posts said they use normal mail for the cards...that would add like at least 1 week...maybe 2 weeks for delivery...
