Just to share my experience in ipoh. Total 10 days from date of apply till self-collect the CC at branch. Apply internet banking on the spot. it is fast for my case.
Anyway, u cant avoid to go to the affin bank unless you dont want internet banking or you already have it. |

Activated both cards yesterday as insisted by the CS (ok lah, her service quite good).
Today saw the SST charged on both cards, only the master card has rebate. Anyone successfully requested SST rebate for the cash back visa card? |

IINM, NTB will not get sms at all, cuz the customer profile (or the mobile) is not created before card approval. which is why no sms is sent (not sure if affin system did trigger it) hahasubsequently, you would get the SMS notification |

I've gotten rejected
. Agent said it's due to high commitment?My CCRIS installment has 2 months arrears due to one credit card that I forgotten to pay the service tax for 2 months . I wonder whether is that the cause.Other than that, my credit utilization is very low, maybe 8% only. Is that a reason why? |

Last year I received a rejection message from Affin for Mastercard Basic, the next day my daughter received her approval SMS. |
