By 28th September if they still cannot approve my card, better I cancel it and take PB Visa Signature...submitted on 8th and still cannot get approved....certainly the worst bank on earth.

Mine approval was fast. Emailed on 20/9, additional document emailed on 21/9, approved on 22/9. Now see how long for the card to reach me.

Adui so desperated to get Affin CC meh, I am yet to apply for Affin Duo, still happy with Maybank, PB and SC.

Public Bank VS + Quantum Duo are better than Affin Duo. Affin Duo are Classic Card, not on par with Platinum or Signature.

11-Sep: submitted additional credit card application, sales officer visited and printed EPF
21-Sep: Missed out two phone calls after lunch hours

Luckily they call again and able to picked up, I was requested to send the cards to branch instead mailing address since some incident shared here, it may delay to receiving cards

After 1 hours, approved credit card message received

RM0.00 Your request on Additional Card for Affin Bank credit card has been approved.

Hopefully cards arrived end of this month

I was requested to send credit cards to branch since it may delay to be sent to home address.
However, I just noticed cards has been delivered to my mailbox yesterday doh.gif

Surprisingly received it within 4 working days icon_rolleyes.gif
And both cards are the same statement date from my existing cards as I can see Duo Cards 16 digits number in the latest statement, time to plan for spending

Aiyo, I am also desperated to get my affin bank duo card. Waiting 2 weeks no reply. just hope can get the rm80 in Sep...
PBB Duo only cash back for max 30, not enough..
Spent full in Boost every month and if can get bonus 80 then it is better than none.. rm80 can pump petrol for one week

PBB: 38 (VS) +30 (QV) +30 (QM) + campaign cashbacks

Affin Duo: max RM80, hardly see any campaign in the past! Interactions with the bank (branch, card centre) can be a bit painful (not only credit cards but other banking products as well)

No doubt you can have both. A bit weird if someone give up PB VS/Quantum for Affin Duo.

i got my PB VS and SC JOP when monthly CB were RM60 and RM85 respectively, but now RM38 and RM60 only. So Affin
Duo Visa's CB of RM80 is just the beginning!

congrats! thumbup.gif

yes, follow your existing card's statement date.

also, i noticed mine dont have SST/SST waiver in both Duo cards (no SST in Cashback, no SST+waiver in Rewards)
i have a feeling it follows existing card's sst cycle (mine was charged back in May 2020) hmm.gif

p/s: For a NTB principal, only see SST/SST+waiver in Duo cards, but no annual fee waiver charges

5 days still early! be prepared to receive between 1-2 weeks, worst case 3 weeks sweat.gif

affin is NOT using courier service. they are using normal snail mail (registered) and it's untrackable as well.

between Duo and JOP...simple question: do you consistently maximize RM2.5k with JOP? without Petrol?

if yes, Duo could be a good replacement.

if no, does your JOP spending fits into Duo's categories: e-Commerce/online, eWallets, and auto-billing transactions?

if yes, then Duo would be a good replacement.

if no, stick back with JOP since most of your trx (to meet JOP's 2.5k monthly spend) would not meet Duo's categories anyway.

Anybody having issue topping up their BigPay? I keep getting that please contact your bank for support error since yesterday. This time I did not do any cleanup in BigPay.

I managed to reach the otp page and get the otp, the error message is shown after the page is redirected back to BigPay. I assume it is BigPay issue now?

Has anyone ever got a reply from cardservices@affinbank.com.my? Actual reply, not automated.

I called CS to reduce credit limit but it needs to be done via email.

Received SMS that my request to reduce CL is removed. Not sure which channel works because I made through email and also via online portal. Yet to reflected at the online portal though.
