I think they will regret allowing people to topup Ewallet, but let's see. Can topup Bigpay and Sarawakpay to get free money and then withdraw.

I got the sling bag when apply Affin VS card, applied in Mytown.

They had done their market research and analysis before coming down to that marketing details.

Topup ewallet that does not have withdrawal feature (i.e. TnG Boost Grabpay) is fine. Does not make business sense to allow ewallet like BigPay though.

Not everyone can play cash-out at SarawakPay.

Affin dont have to regret as they allow it for cashback calculation. it only impact their P&L, which already scoped into their business case when coming up with this Duo card. Else, they wouldn't so upfront in listing the ewallets out It's more of tactical approach to target ewallet spending.

payment cards are just the topup source (souce of funding) --> ewallets

majority of the work is on these ewallets providers because they need to keep maintaining and reporting the withdrawal activities.

Finally a thread for this. Will apply when i'm free. I think Affin is trying to get some market share in times of pandemic. They have always been the smallest of the players.

Bigpay credit card topup limit rm2500 only. Some already have more than 1 card.

Banks are better off rewarding their cardholders that consistently use their credit cards by way of cash back instead of campaigns that give out free mobile phones, cars or sometimes even houses. Banks like Citibank and HSBC have been throwing a lot of money too with their super generous sign-up offers that give out RM300 - RM500 free money. Banks should definitely re-look into their strategy on how to award their cardholders.

But isn't this clause in most of the credit card application form? Might be wrong on this.
