Banks are better off rewarding their cardholders that consistently use their credit cards by way of cash back instead of campaigns that give out free mobile phones, cars or sometimes even houses. Banks like Citibank and HSBC have been throwing a lot of money too with their super generous sign-up offers that give out RM300 - RM500 free money. Banks should definitely re-look into their strategy on how to award their cardholders.
