Best to go Proton SC to do full check and fix, because if anything malfunctions near that area in the future (internal sensors, etc), Proton can deny warranty for those parts if they detect unrecorded repairs/accident.

MY city drive is real 100% city drive with hilly terrain and slow speed of <30km/h

It can range from 6km/l - 8km/l

My other Persona VVT 1.6 NA manual transmission doing just 7-9km/l as comparison.

Yeah, already got a quote for it. Basic repairs not too bad pricewise....but the headlight lamp has some minor scratches which will probably ignore for now. As long as it wasn't cracked basically. That piece is very expensive...

is there anyone tried new android auto apk that 'extract' from x90?
if install on x50 no need usb autokit?

I see … I’m currently still driving Proton Saga SE which is more than 10 years old

Am currently thinking to choose between X50, Vios or City for next car

Not in rush though since I can wait and X50 is my preferred option, barring any unexpected developments or news

If you care about FC i.e. love boasting with ppl about how fuel save your car is, Vios and City are the one to go for

X50 excel in all other aspects miles away.

Edit: Oh ya if u care about boot space, City or Vios are better too

Out of curiosity since you are comparing with Sedan, why rule out S70?

actually I only got to know about S70 recently

so yea my current option is between S70 vs X50 now ..

S70 has sexy back design quite like it

but I also wondering about any potential issue since it was just recently release

need to wait for few months to hear/read owners' feedback

I'm still hearing issues with 2023 X50 which is abit "frightening"

Yeah wait mayb 6 more months or 1 year to see feedback.

Powertrain wise like Engine and Gearbox should be pretty good, X50 since launched did not hear any premature failure for engine & GB

The minor one like wind noise also solved for X50 for the later batch.

So far my X50 till today no major issue, only have the wiper sensor not turning off which they eventually solved after tweaking.

hopefully the X50 facelift is coming soon together with AACP

that may change my decision ....

If you have time and not in a rush, you can always wait and observe

Agree if AACP comes together it will be a much better package

more to rebates. after a year on the road, Proton or Proton SA love give rebates for the car. so no harm to wait. Actually if u buy X90 or x50 now, can find SA that give rebates, x70 for sure more rebates. your pocket, your call.
my case last time, x70 premium x, sst at rm7k, SA add another rebates for rm4k. that why ended up with coating and ppf

just dun wan buy a car then need to spend time keep going back to SC to fix issues

I'm still seeing ppl complaint about X50

warranty covered. which sort of problem u heard for x50? nothing major heard or saw on x50 group so far. only battery batch issue and few got alternator issue, which can claim new under warranty

issue like waiting for weeks/months for parts replacement

i dun have spare car

only during MCO. nowadays solved already

tried with x90 autokit apk and CCPA, AND most important with huawei wireless AA.
but only 1 major issue and 2 minor issue.

-audio didnt pass-thru autokit, only play on phone speaker. (consider major issue)
-map on the HU update current position slow/have delay. like 30sec~1min per update...but the GUI not laggy
-random crash and hard to reconnect back < yet discover what issue
