If you care about FC i.e. love boasting with ppl about how fuel save your car is, Vios and City are the one to go for

X50 excel in all other aspects miles away.

Edit: Oh ya if u care about boot space, City or Vios are better too

Out of curiosity since you are comparing with Sedan, why rule out S70?

Powertrain wise like Engine and Gearbox should be pretty good, X50 since launched did not hear any premature failure for engine & GB

The minor one like wind noise also solved for X50 for the later batch.

So far my X50 till today no major issue, only have the wiper sensor not turning off which they eventually solved after tweaking.

more to rebates. after a year on the road, Proton or Proton SA love give rebates for the car. so no harm to wait. Actually if u buy X90 or x50 now, can find SA that give rebates, x70 for sure more rebates. your pocket, your call.
my case last time, x70 premium x, sst at rm7k, SA add another rebates for rm4k. that why ended up with coating and ppf

warranty covered. which sort of problem u heard for x50? nothing major heard or saw on x50 group so far. only battery batch issue and few got alternator issue, which can claim new under warranty

Isn't the power tailgate pretty expensive too?

Last year Dec got 8k cash rebate plus free power tailgate from proton, plus other free accessories from SA. The cash discount was to compensate for year end car depreciation.

if hacked version, x90, x70 (atlas & gkui), x50, s70 all already have AACP.

because it just mirror the screen, need phone screen not locked i think?
