I got a question. For those who loan already been approved, they need to resubmit again with the exact price is it?

Yup.
Since the bank already has all our details and the credit facility is already pre-approved, bankers will process our application quicker (as they already have all the documents and etc).

My banker called today and re-confirmed, should be settled within the week since actual pricing was lower than expected.

Is this normal? Or quality issue?

Last time we get around 2k~3k discount for Honda city and maybe for MyVi get rm500 discount and also full tank or some basic accessories.

Don't expect any freebie this year, now you got money want to buy also cannot get the car. If any dealer can promise to deliver the car to me by end of this year I will gladly take it without any freebies.

My SA notified me as per instructions from the dealer HQ, if I don't purchase the optional accessories which cost RM3.2k/3.5k, I cannot get this year's car..

To be honest, I don't blame the SA as the root problem lies with Proton HQ. The SA was just conveying the message to me only.

First batch defects....

Regarding the 2 accessories package. Many dealers did not understand the memo from Proton HQ.

The memo mentioned each "unit of allocation received". These units are the display/test drive units that the dealers received days ago. Proton HQ is NOT referring to customer units.

For example, if the dealer received 2 X50 for display and test drive purposes, they need to order 2 accessories packages and suppose to install them at those 2 units.

Many dealers thought each customer unit need to order one accessories package which is not meant by the memo. So if your SA is forcing you to buy one, explain this to them. And if they dont believe, ask them to reconfirm with HQ instead of asking their boss or whatever.

My SA did mention the sales team were quite confused by this actually but will seek further clarification.

so once purchase, your SA can only do 1 thing
ask his customer to buy, you don't want nvm, ask next one, if the next customer buy, he get the car first

From the recent 5 states x50 Special Preview session feedback, majority customers are interested and consider power tail gate is a must have item

Following that , for every unit of x50 allocation received , Outlets are required to order one set of X50 accessories packages with power tailgate( either urban or utility package) from Aftersales and offer to customer, Customer that interested to purchase this accessory package can in corporate it into their hire purchase loan application

For better management and to expetide accessory delivery to outlets, for the the first batch of launching unit, Aftersales HQ will assist to issue PO on outlet behalf for display n Test drive unit[SIZE=14]. Subsequence Unit

Point 2
Every unit of x50 allocation , outlet required to order 1 set of the sampah package

For lauching unit, After sales HQ will assist issue PO

IF, your case is true , there wont be point 2, since PROTON already issue PO for display and test drive unit, what is the need to ask dealer to order 1 set of sampah package ? ? ada faham ?

the last paragraph is what ? the memo leak end with Subsequence unit need to order directly to their aftersales HQ

the door is weld together , you can find around 3~4 place like this on each x50 door
some car do it nicer, some even use a piece of rubber to cover it, but x50 choose to run naked

actually best bid is
do the loan first, settle whatever issue may arise BEFORE launching
then when the actual price is out, your SA will submit a amended vso to the bank
your new amended Lou can out within 1 or 2 day

some bank like public bank open for the loan x50 base on a rough price like 1 or 2 week ago

Not really but cash buyer will be ahead of ayonan now
Every brand have diff mechanism
some use booking date + lou date
some solely use lou date ( this cash will be faster as when they booking its consider like loan lou done status )
