not sure what you asking on the first pic

2nd pic is like dat one
the door is weld together , you can find around 3~4 place like this on each x50 door
some car do it nicer, some even use a piece of rubber to cover it, but x50 choose to run naked
u mean the hatch already close but with such huge gap?
maybe not yet fully close kut  sweat.gif

That kind of welding finishing imo is a bad finishing. I understand welding needs to be done but I guess this is due to robot welding instead of human.

I have not yet check out the car personally but its said the left side bar doesn't align properly compare to the right side.

Sorry for noob questions but since this is my 1st time buying a car, I would really need some helps.

My question is, what's the procedure after the price getting announced? My loan has been approved and do I need to contact the bank? or let the SA do his job? Also I'm confused, what exactly is a LOU?

Again sorry for the noob questions. tongue.gif

u might be in bad position
some company need LOU ( letter of undertaking ) from bank in order to secure your booking position
many already submitted their loan earlier than you they would get the car first  console.gif

I think I bank in the fee 2 days after because it was then proton announced all SA must take in booking fee even if they are VIP

Oh well let’s just see how bad this is going

Not noob q la. Don't worry.

If your loan have been approved, mean LOU is given to your SA dy. LOU = Letter Of Undertaking meaning bank confirm dy will pay amount on paper to dealer.

Next, waiting game. Btw, don't pay your downpayment yet. At least wait til you get car allocation. If full loan, need to amend the full amount now. Takes some time but shorter than submit new hire purchase application.

I paid a day before official booking day, loan approved last month, still need to wait car allocation. According to SA, probably next year lol. Think the 6000 car proton able to make is including dealer unit(show unit/test drive unit/roadshow unit so that's why.

Thanks biggrin.gif biggrin.gif . My SA said no idea when will the allocation start and his showroom has only 1 display unit, hence not available for testdrive yet. Let's hope everyone gets their cars before 2021.

I'll break it down for you

From the recent 5 states x50 Special Preview session feedback, majority customers are interested and consider power tail gate is a must have item

Following that , for every unit of x50 allocation received , Outlets are required to order one set of X50 accessories packages with power tailgate( either urban or utility package) from Aftersales and offer to customer
, Customer that interested to purchase this accessory package can in corporate it into their hire purchase loan application

For better management and to expetide accessory delivery to outlets, for the the first batch of launching unit, Aftersales HQ will assist to issue PO on outlet behalf for display n Test drive unit
[SIZE=14]. Subsequence Unit

Point 1
Customer say is a must have

Point 2
Every unit of x50 allocation , outlet required to order 1 set of the sampah package

Point 3
For lauching unit, After sales HQ will assist issue PO

IF, your case is true , there wont be point 2, since PROTON already issue PO for display and test drive unit, what is the need to ask dealer to order 1 set of sampah package ? ? ada faham ?

the last paragraph is what ? the memo leak end with Subsequence unit need to order directly to their aftersales HQ

you can think your way for sure, for as of now, proton is not retracting the memo yet  rclxm9.gif

AND for the display unit itself
these unit will be register as customer car, who gonna pay for the accessories ?  icon_idea.gif

It's not I'm thinking my way. I have clarified this with Proton HQ as well. There's also an article from Paultan mentioning Proton has confirmed this. You guys need to stop spinning seriously.

i say it again
the issue is Proton forcing the Dealer to purchase
so once purchase, your SA can only do 1 thing
ask his customer to buy, you don't want nvm, ask next one, if the next customer buy, he get the car first

ada faham ??
YES you definitely have the right not to pay BUT the package is going No where, so either they find customer who willing to pay first
or Until proton stops this bullshit
*
Dealer only need to buy 1 set for each display/test drive unit. Not 1 set for each customer unit. Dealers are misunderstanding the memo.

Yes thats why I said, if you guys dont trust me I can give you the SA contact number. Confirm 100% no need to add on that stupid package but he is in penang la if you want to deal with him.

No such thing as get that addon only get the car this year etc, all based on his customers booking queue & loan application. Any of your SA tells you that either bullshiting you or just doesn't know.

Notice both x70 & x50, required 5 liter engine oil each service. However, quoted price is different at rm150 & rm130. Do they use different engine oil for x70 & x50 or this just marketing gimmick to lower down x50 service price.

he is trying to take advantage of the hype and upsell you to get more sales and comm for him then. since got so many customers queueing for x50, he can easily say "you dont like? then dont buy the car" kinda thing.

best thing to do is to report to the dealer of the SA, and if the dealer is also in cahoots, report to proton
