Did anyone encounter front windshield wiper keeps sweeping even there's no rain when auto mode is shifted for FS model?
My windscreen just changed and new silicone gel is applied on the rain sensor. Light sensor is working fine.

You need to go back to the windscreen shop. Maybe some error when installing the rain sensor back. It is supposed PNP back the rain sensor without any need to put gel or anything

Reinstalled many times but no luck. Not sure the sensor is still in working condition. They tested the sensor is working as expected when not attached to the windscreen. The windscreen is ori.

wiper/rain sensor shouldnt 'glued' to windshield. it should slot into specific slot without extra tool (like tuck in a stopper to a door)
i changed my windshield this august.

ask the shop to claim back new sensor. why on earth he put some gel/ liquid on the sensor puzzle me. it supposed straight PNP back after install new windscreen. I have changed both my car windscreen under insurance almost annually, never faced this issue. Only done it at regular shop in Subang or Jalan Klang Lama

While I am giving opinion about Corolla Cross and Omoda 5 in my previous reply, I unintentionally missed out the HRV then I did a search in HRV thread seems like it wasn't active..
did the popularity for HRV fell so much? for what reason? Corolla Cross at least I still hear about news it overtake X70 in term of sales.
*
Well it could be due to pricing too.
Corolla cross has bigger space and feel like much worth it. The crv will be pricing on the high side too. Lol.

Btw, have u seated on the new hrv? Ive tried before. It is uncomfortable and some how my feet feel awkward especially sitting on the co driver seat. Meanwhile x50 have better space and more relax position.

Not a fan of omada 5. I think the material quality is a bit lesser than x50. Corolla cross can be hrv/crv killer if they have EPB. They just need to update they tech a bit.

Haven't get a chance to try on HRV yet, Corolla Cross definitely win in term of space, infact the leading one in B-seg SUV. The newer HRV boot about the size of X50 nothing to shout home about.

Cross I just do not like the idea of the near 20 years old engine, they should give DF engine as seen on the other country.

Omoda also did not get a chance to try on yet.

me not really tried it..but my office manager drive one.
first complain from me (ofc by look at it), the car overall to the roof height look like toy car, mean overall sitting position should be lower right?
second from the owner manager, literally buy HRV for the look, overall other element cant compare to my x50.

btw..i like the hrv steering wheel turning feel, 100% better than x50 even x50 on eco/light steering mode

what is the best rebates for X50 TGDI? Buddies went to booking S70, but I suggest take X50 TGDI with rebates.

Cons found on S70, no multilink at back, 1st batch sure had some issue related to installation, no TGDI cant vrom2 with big sedan. Last the S70 play safe design, the donor car already few years old, Proton dont make many changes to the S70 vs Geely donor car.

I have the X50 Premium.
There are 2 parking sensors at the front.
I feel the range of the parking sensors are a bit short.
Need the object to be somewhat near before the sensor starts beeping.

Anyone else feels the same?

Yes. I use the FS. Even the BSM detects car when car is very near. It even has delay. Car already passed by, bsm still on lol.

Depend on SC & luck.

I managed to get my side mirrors replaced when I serviced my car at COSE. Fortunately for me, the new side mirrors were in stock.

Had to leave my car for the whole day for that replacement.
