Many complaint stuck at “please choose media”. While many successfully install the script after updating the firmware to the latest one, some fail. I suspect its due to the usb dongle format FAT32 or ntfs. I also suspect another thing that is using mac OS or smartphone to extract the files.

For those who is curious if the new side mirror design would help with wind noise, after a few short attempt to 90km/h -130km/h I notice the wind noise greatly reduced, not completely silent but already at acceptable level that it won't stand out unless you pay attention to it. Of course a soft music volume will definitely mask the noise.

But anyway my test is just a very brief <30 second of travel above speed 100km/h

In short if you curious does it help a lot? Yeah I would say quite a lot but not completely silent still which is very acceptable to me, before this above 90km/h I could hear some wind noise like window is not completely shut like that from Passenger side, this is totally gone now.

i do notice it sometimes during bumps too. So that is drive shaft issue?

not from my knowledge. but able to minimise it.
now FB group's update their windnoise solution already, sharing windscreen both side A pillar cover/liner.
they claim the X50 R3 and china version have that, so they believe Proton/Geely long ago already know that causing windnoise... lol you bet that work or no?

How bad are the issues? from what i read from 1st page up to now (in selection parts) can see from what you posted mostly related to high end more tech models yes? (im looking at entry models, not so savy on that high end models etc.)

power window, sensors, apps, infotainment etc.

how about key components like engine, drive train, alternators, handling, brakes etc? Has the latest production settled all those issues?

I know every car has its ups and downs, but if there is an option should i still opt for x50?

Best to run Waze in Android Auto, the HU processor is not very capable.
