U can't prevent the ota to be downloaded but u can prevent it to be installed i think. My sister's iriz don't auto update unless u click install now

IMHO, why do u need to install those apps? The IHU spec is very pak kaduk one. Will surely got laggy in 2 years. Just put one simple apps, that is AA/CP and you can use waze spotify etc directly from ur phone. Super fast too because your phone is the one being the brain. Flagship phone nowdays won't get lag even after 5 years 😂

I read somewhere that in order to have CP, the HU needs a proprietary apple MFI chip integrated inside. So RIP CP for x50. But Android Auto doesn't need any additional hardware. Just request and pay the license to google.

Go to / directory then from there, use search and type 'zip' without sign. It will search any file with zip from / (root directory)

Please install terminal emulator. Then type this command. 'df'. It will list all the mounted directory with storage size. Maybe can narrow down where the download is located. Here's mine. Try compare.

btw, i modified the script. this will install ES as system app. doing this will not wipe ES even we do factory reset. not sure if OS upgrade will remove it.

before installing ES using this script, please uninstall old ES first. there's 50-50 chance you will retain/lose ES after OS upgrade.

Up to you man. There's literally nothing to steal from a car headunit. U can choose file explorer of your own. No one force u to use es, it's just a general guide.

It's either located in /data or /storage/emulated/0. Can u try find it there?

Edit: /data and /storage/emulated/0 is the same path. U need the search the file there as the directory has consumed around 900mb. You can also check /resources as it has consumed 1.5gb

The russian used this method to convert es into system apps. Anybody who used this script please give a feedback. Saw many downloads from mf. This won't work on atlas. Only gkui.

Let me guess what u have in mind. U want to flash chinese firmware then flash our gkui version rom back isit? The only problem is that we don't have our gkui rom and need to repack the rom from HU.

What if someone has the atlas rom. We need to modify the rom to put at least es then flash using the chinese rom.

nope but i can easily understand what needs to be done. actually i just got the atlas rom . but i am not familiar with rom cooking. the files used to boot scripts from usb is not there anymore. they removed it.
