The X50 car seats are unfortunately made of synthetic "leather" (ie. made of PVC or some unbreathable sticky material) & misleadingly labelled "leatherette" in the marketing specs. This is the case even for the Flagship variant, which is dumb.

This is NOT real leather & is horrible to touch & sit on. Because it is not breathable, you will find that it is hot & uncomfortable & will stick on your clothing.

So my question is - has anyone who purchased the X50 changed the seats to real leather? If so, how much is the approx. cost please.

Thanks.

Didn't know that! Like that, better if they had used some good quality fabric than plastic.

What other vehicle that give real leather at this price range?

Leatherette were indeed Artificial leather, they didn't claim this is real leather.

You don't put PVC seats in your flagship model. The flagship model is 10k more than premium. Either put some real leather seats & add to price a bit or at least give customer option to upgrade to real leather.

This is flagship model. If they can charge 10k as an upgrade to premium model, give real leather ot give as upgrade option.

Your statement misses the point entirely.

Back to the topic actually yourself miss the point.
Spec already set there, even now time travel back to 2019, it announced with basic/entry leather seat, surely you will ask : 'it already leather, why not nappa leather like x70'

Like it or not, thing doesnt work like that.

Clearly mentioned in brochure it's leatherette. You are the one that think leatherette is real leather. If you feel you're cheated, feel free to sue them for false advertisement.
Why they can't put synthetic leather on flagship model? It's not a RM300K car.
The L2 autonomous driving worth the RM10k premium. Which car at this price gives you L2 autonomous driving? Even some cars more than RM300K don't give you L2 autonomous driving.
My last reply to you. Lazy to talk to people like you that don't admit you're wrong.

Hi guys, i have rattling sound coming from the right side of the car everytime i drive >70km/h. But i cannot pin point where is it coming from

I checked the whole car, everything looks solid, no lose panel.
I even emptied the whole car from my stuff to see if it's my own stuff causing the rattle, but its not

Anybody has similar experience can share here and how to fix it?

My next service appointment is in august, so still long way to go.

The problem itself is not harmful or dangerous, it's just that it's annoying

Would appreciate other owners feedback

P/s : my car is still standard and no modifications whatsoever. Only add dashcam

hit it with your own risk lah...lol
because i am not sure your issue same with me or not.

when it rattling you can use elbow push the panel a little, so if the rattling gone, mean you push at the 'right place'
when you release the elbow rattling came back

so you can pin point to certain section not whole panel

Well the photo you posted was taken too far away to see the smaller markings clearly so I went online to search for the same model. If yours doesn't have it then you could check if it violates any local regulations.

Dear X50 owners, I am also a bit shy to ask this but how do you pump air into the spare tyre and I honestly can't find the nozzle.
