The only way is to inspect before delivery and if find any defects, do not sign the hand over delivery form.

Demand them to rectify all the defect baru sign papers.

Without you signing papers, bank cant release the money to the dealer .

Your rights to get it fix but before delivery

Ic, good info

In 2021, I will look forward to test drive Perodua D55L.

No doubt X50 is fun to drive and packed with advance safety features

I'm hoping D55L offering at similar safety features. Didnt aspect anonymous L2 driving, but let said D55L able offer at similar comfort and safety, I don't mind 1.0 turbo engine at below Rm70k.

Another options is also Yaris crossover, but I doubt it is similar price range.
If were go above X50, likely to look X70 if there is facelift or upgrade in 2021 version.

But again, don't have too much confidence with Proton.
Screw up marketing that make customers wait and never provide sufficient training and information for their SA or dealer.

Then now 1st batch customers receiving cars with so many obvious defects.
Can you imagine those that you cant see? I will recommend we should wait longer, not to rush for car delivery in 2020. Proton is not really ready, all signs and feedback obviously demonstrated to you.

Lastly their 3s or 4s services still not par with any Japanese car dealers or also far from Perodua level.

Simply comparison here that you have to wait 3-4 hrs needed for Proton to do a normal service vs within 1 hr from Perodua.

Seems to me Proton never set level or KPI for theie dealers to maintain certain quality aspects.

Well said.

Honestly Proton never improved so far in every aspect. The ‘improvement’ and ‘upgrades’ that you see in newer cars are from Geely’s direct conversion so in other words, nothing ever changed not even their service and ethics.

If u are not urgently need it then better u wait.
I am also waiting till they fixed it first on the next batch.

Like iris, first batch hv issues with their black lining roof flying on highways. They did replaced it for free. Took a while but i believe no more issues on the next batch.

Charging the battery to maintain battery health. Both x70 and x50 drain battery even when the car is off and locked.

How long would it take for the battery to drain to 50%?

Nope, didn't unwrap the cover. So far no issues with Proton link.

Is there a way to know the battery percentage? I only know Proton link will notify if battery running low. I travel short distances that's why need to charge periodically.

Speaker sound quality is very subjective. What I can say is x50 is better than the new Myvi and my old 8th gen Civic. But still way behind my brother's Mazda 6. Overall the sound is good enough for me.

Hello..I'm planning to get X50 since it has high tech ADAS and compact size compare to X70. However, a good NVH or comfort level is also my priority.

I don't have any chance to test X50. furthermore for a short test drive only can test acceleration, but not NVH level during highway cruising.

Some owners who took car advised to feedback to proton and let the SC do their job 1st, instead do any installation of door visor or rubber around the door.

Agreed, If say wind noise at windows probably run channel related issue can be fixed.

Door Visor will only make more wind noise, not recommended.

IMO, NVH is good on this one with the Continental, not sure about the Giti

This is what most of us thought too, that visors will make it worse. Surprisingly, I have seen like 4-5 reviews from fb and telegram group that the visors did manage to reduce the wind noise by half probably.

Of course, I agree too sending to SC to have them checked first before trying visors on your own
