Need to know:

1. Ts late service past how many kms than the required every interval of 10,000km?

2. service at honda service centre or outside? Bcoz outside bengkel change oil every 5k km for mineral oil, 7k for semi not sure how much for fully synthetic. Misinformation by the worksyop will damage ur car.

3. Honda car brand is femes/hearsay among normal ppl for being a bit ‘sensitive’. You must service at their service centre and use their recommended oil/filter/original parts. You go service outside i always hear among my peers and friends your car will start to sakt here and there...yes servicing at authorize service centre is a bit costly BUT since its just honda the price is not that big difference/expensive. Its not like proton where you can service anywhere and still doing fine...

luckily it is more of bulletproof engine and in other market was to be serviced at 6 months/10000km, no issues at all after 4 years now.

These warranty claim is like claiming from insurance agent, they do their best to avoid giving you the claim.

Its not wrong though, memang 10k the oil last buuuut your service interval based on your engine is 5k

My 2012 Jazz - Honda SC whistling.gif
My 2005 Odyssey - 90% DIY (I have all the tools needed, hobby) whistling.gif

Both religiously follow service interval / schedule. Both runs flawlesly.

Honda gearbox must use official Honda transmission fluids not just any old transmission fluid.
If not, ggwp liao.

Join Honda owners fab group, start find reliable workshop for halfcut Gb & future servicing.

but before that, learn to read user manual.

CVT's service interval is every 40k
but every brand's interval is a little different, not sure about honda but definitely not 50k
50k is too long already

btw if u buy new car just follow the service interval liao la. wan save money skip service or send outside bengkel, then dont complain cannot claim warranty jek.

just accept u pay marked up service cost for warranty
