Might not be even the gearbox faulty. I think the owner masalah.
The diagnostic report only says the technician heard the sound comes from gearbox. Never even plug in ODB2 diagnostic tool , no fault code report from TCU.
I think it can even be the owner heard the infamous CVT whine when full throttle up Genting which is normal.
These days you cant even trust service center technicians. These newbies are paid low wages , you get low quality job

Time to change cvt fluid and filter |

man, yes the maintenance is cheap but u chose to skip it, so whose fault is it?Ur gearbox is probably faulty coz of ur poor attendance

it is warranty terms and condition that they will layan warranty as long as u svc ur car with Honda svc only. did u read warranty footnote or not?
seems u serviced outside and sure can get cheaper price but if workshop outside bodo use capalang oil, not matched to your gearbox type, how can honda be held responsible?
Lu ada otak pikir. jgn jadi bangsa H yg memalukan.

TS, you should have bought honda city hybrid like me.
DCT gearbox oil change is every 160,000km.
My 2 year old city hybrid mileage is at 40,000km now.
No need change gb oil unlike CVT.
Hybrid > all
Honda > all
