while other japanese brand's CVT do not have a filter...which is why the interval is much lower

ohhh.. what are the common ones? yeah i went and buy a hybrid but padahal i most of the time driving on highway my hybrid aint too fuel saving hahahaha. Hence passing down to my sister and planning to get a tebu.

service interval lower is better...change more often is better for the transmission

my CVT interval is also every 40k

i think the most ridiculous one is toyota....i think their service interval is either lifetime or 100k

As for me, money is not an issue / primary concern.

Just to prove that one can take care of a car with proper knowledge, skills and a bit of passion. It can be as good as sending it to official service centre. It cost money too, to buy all those specialised tools, hydraulic jack, digital torque wrench, full set socket & wrench (good one, not Mr DIY quality), workshop manual, OBD II scan tools, etc.

My office mate, still send his City iDSI to Honda SC. His car runs very well too.
