If you send it to outside workshops, it would only cost you a fraction of what it would cost you to get your gearbox replaced at the service centre.
*
it's true on the cost
but this is only a 3 years old GB
TS already made the mistake of letting outside workshop touching it or i don't know if he even service at all

don't make the same mistake and let outside workshop touch his gearbox again laugh.gif

later wanna resell big problem

if contract is unfair , judge still can help you. Contract is important, but also must fair also. Have to see ur gearbox what problem 1st. gearbox not supposed to rosak easily unless u racing. see the situation.

u must knw ur rights as consumer also.
*
there are t&c to comply if u want the 5 years warranty bro

if u let outside workshop touch your car/gearbox, i don't even wanna honour that warranty already but i don't know what the workshop did to the gearbox
the cost that TS has to bear for wanting to save money and let outside workshop touching it

honda city is using CVT
god know that outside workshop go fill it with ATF like the previous case laugh.gif
for cars using CVT, it's best to use the manufacturer's oil or go back SC service(do not use compatible oil)

i know, but the t&c alos must fair. judge can revise it if its unfair. if ts no racing, normal use, no outside touch, then impossible will rosak de. but must prove it's manufacturer problem though. u can ask mechanical forensic to check for u.  icon_idea.gif

but if u lazy and dun wan justice, jus pay 20k and let them repair for u ba.  laugh.gif
*
the moment u let outside workshop touch your car, the warranty is off already
nobody is gonna spend time investigating it while others don't have such issue

if your service record is according and your GB suffer premature failure, any brand would gladly change it for u

QUOTE(terradrive @ Jul 15 2020, 06:28 PM)
sometimes the service advisor tipu one, me also kena, say if use full syn oil can be 6 months/10000km. I needed that because I travel like 4000km a month and I don't have much free time even on weekends to service. When I went to service at authorized service centre nearer to my place, the service advisor say why skipped one service/passed the mileage by a lot, you can have hard time claiming warranty on the engine doh.gif

luckily it is more of bulletproof engine and in other market was to be serviced at 6 months/10000km, no issues at all after 4 years now.

These warranty claim is like claiming from insurance agent, they do their best to avoid giving you the claim.
*
this is where your receipt can be used as proof
proving that u used full syn oil

so tipu also need both side, it can't be one side unless you lose your receipt

This.. CVT interval for fluid is every 50k km iirc
*
CVT's service interval is every 40k
but every brand's interval is a little different, not sure about honda but definitely not 50k
50k is too long already

QUOTE(kkk8787 @ Jul 15 2020, 06:49 PM)
If u dare, post your full service record here. If u dun dare. Hmmm I think we know why

Proton CVT is 60k
*
true but u forgot proton CVT got include transmission oil filter
while other japanese brand's CVT do not have a filter...which is why the interval is much lower

Nissan pun ada cvt filter. I service every 40k too, just in case.
*
service interval lower is better...change more often is better for the transmission

my CVT interval is also every 40k

i think the most ridiculous one is toyota....i think their service interval is either lifetime or 100k rclxub.gif

Yes, and toyota has the most reliable CVT among all car manufacturers
Nissan jatco cvt 40k, shitbrix reliability
Honda ayam think is 60k but reliability better than jatco
*
even scotty say there is no such thing as lifetime fluid
change it as often as possible to maintain it's reliability

QUOTE(rtk74 @ Jul 15 2020, 08:24 PM)
Whachu tok kok mang, all car transmission have filter
*
that's weird
my CVT is the smaller version of inspira's GB...there are no filter

fuh, this thing is what interval need to change?
i've never change this before, nor SC ever charge me for it before
in fact, i've never saw any member change this before

the GB is basically a smaller version of inspira's GB, using the same oil

i know but this one seriously doesn't have
even mitsubishi themselves never listed transmission oil filter on the maintenance schedule
and that is mitsubishi global that is MY/US/AU

i think those are fake or for other purposes

even the mirage international forum also pointed out there are no transmission oil filter
if u ask me, i've never seen anyone change the so called transmission filter for this car before

Wow..similar to my manual  toyota avensis verso already 560 000.

Hats off to proton satria
*
more like older gen car's manual basically can last forever

no brand manufacturer their own GB anyway, it's being produced by other manufacturer
