Check your boot and front bonnet.

Either that or one of your door switches are faulty.

I own a Proton Saga 1.3 A (2010 model).

For the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF), how many litres are required, should I plan to drain the oil ATF, and put in the new ones?

Some problems with my new Suprima S

1) rear view mirror (not side mirrors) viewing angle seems a bit odd, like cant see clearly.

2)Heavy steering

3)Heavy fuel consumption

4) some creaks and rattles can be heard from the back seat

5) Seats and headrest are very hard..

6)Android infotainment system lags sometimes and does not respond requiring an engine restart

7) brake pedal need to press harder before it will take an effect, tapping the brake lightly seems like nothing happen

Dear All,

My BLM (1st gen) fan doesn't switch off when the key is removed. Once in a while it will switch off. But then after a while the fan comes on again (even after the car is remote locked) and does not switch off.

Has anybody experienced this problem before?

I have checked the fluid levels and everything else I can think off. If the fan never switched off I would guess its the fan relay stuck close. But the thing is it does go off once in may be 20 stops (turn-offs) so I'm stumped.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi all Sifu, Saga BLM, there is sounds when break in early morning or in low speed. But after driving for 10-15 minutes, there will be no sound when brake.

Mechanic told the brake pad is still functioning good.

Anyone experience this before and know what is the causes ?

No issue
Your brake discs are just rusting overnight
the pads rub off the rust then sound disappears
Dont have to worry wink.gif
If the sound persists after a few presses then you have to start worrying
One possibility is the pads used are too hard
Try softer perhaps copper based high performance type pads
They are more forgiving and even less susceptible to brake fade

2. Send back to SC, seems that you need a bit of tuning.

3. It depends on your foot, the turbo is on at 2k, if you like to vroom vroom, then fuel consumption is up as well

4. Again, send back to SC so that they can rectify it

since so far i know..no preve comes with that screw...it is their mistake..maybe they not finalize the production. why left the lubang free without screw...i dont mind if they dont want screw it. but without that screw the panel pilled off by time..if no issue come even they dont screw it..i dont mind it..but that is a issue...if Proton still continue this bullshit, 100% preve will be my last proton car.

Is normal this part doesnt have screw, you can put it in, but do remind workers if you go outside shop do some mod, they will pull directly without unscrew it~

Driving slow does not always = good FC. Even though you're using less fuel, you're covering even less distance.

yup..im always remind them about it..
it is good if they make screwless panel. but please make a good panel, which will not peel off after that.

this.

i get the best FC during my road trips (eg: ipoh/singapore) and i tend to go way over 140-160km/h, and that's way beyond my iswara cruising speed going around 5-6k rpm biggrin.gif

yup the best way is use the instant fc indicatior.
u will found out u drive too slow your fc is too high, u drive to fast ur fc high too..
the best way is by checking the instant fc indicator and try to drive the best driving style fit to current traffic or road.
