Hi,

I am driving a BLM Proton Saga FL 2011. I experienced recently that my car difficult to ignite at the first ignition attempt but eventually it started on 2nd ignition all the time.

I was told by the mechanic in proton service centre that this car model experiences this kind of problem. He told me that the engine's petrol pump have insufficient power to pump "up" the petrol into engine. Thats why the first ignition unable to start up the engine.

I was adviced to purchase RON97 instead.

I just did a major service last week.
Checked car battery, still functional..

Does anyone experiences this problem??

mine blm 2008 happened on slow mode, decided just to leave it although it's kinda annoying. I think it's the cheapo relay that is making the click sound

Whoever tell you to pump RON97 into a Saga so that it works better should, to quote an unker, go fark his own a$$ with his own d!ck.

Try this: when twisting your key to the second notch (just before ignition), you will hear a "weeeeeee" sound from your rear seat. That's your fuel pump. After a few seconds the sound will stop. After that only start cranking your engine.

hard to start. even started rpm unstable then engine die.
had to tried 2-3 time and full press gas pedal to start the engine.

go sc check, no error found. sux.

Hi, my Gaga BLM 1.3 M-Line Manual year 2008 got a few problems. Here i list it down.

1) Airbag indication light appears every 5 seconds. That's when i use aircond. If i open the window, no indication light appear

2) My brake, i think so, make tak tak tak noise when use on off road (gravel pavement), when i brake also feel like stuck stuck a little. Friend told me disc rotor defect or brake disc warped, also one people also told me caliper loose.

3) 3rd gear got some lag when i drive. 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th gear got no lag. When change to 3rd gear, after release clutch like want to padam.

4) My engine, i think so again, make funny sound. Like remote control car sound when i cruise on the road. Filter?

5) Engine very hot even short trips only. 10 minute drive, walaoeh, feel like oven. Pomen said one big hose that connect to engine from radiator got defect.

6) Steering stuck stuck when turn, during low speed 0 - 30 km/j. Friend told maybe power steering pump broken or blocked.

Please be noted that my Gaga has been accident in Feb 2012. Maybe the insurance panel workshop did cincai job fixing my car. Ayam noob, no nothing, can drive, then just go. Please help me, i can provide drill or vids but by tomorrow. Thanks in advance.

Now getting worse. No a/c. Still appear.

any idea where to fix dashboard rattle noise?

rattle usually due to loose part under the dash. to fix usually mech will dismantle a few part of your dash, re-arrange
cables, socket, wires etc and tie them up with cable tie.

power window and lock is always proton problem! hate it when it is malfunction, window cant slide down.. ARGH

I'm satria neo r3 owner. just got the car bout couple months ago. I have this intermittent squeaking sound come from front (like the sound of rat...cit cit cit). suspect it come from dashboard. any suggestion? the sound occur not at any specific time..sometime during bumpy road, sometime at low speed, sometime at high speed.freaking annoying with that sound!

I'm satria r3 owner too the dashboard sound does appear and the passenger back area making metal knocking sound. Send to proton they say its clip.. After 2 days sound came back f***.. I am not gonna buy proton anymore.. New car but send in more than 4 to 5 times

Question :
How much would it cost(rough estimate), to re-spray an entire Gen-2?
Reason being the paint all over the car is so uneven with spots here and there due to exposure under too much sunlight? Already sent for wax & polish, will last usually less than a week then the spots and marks start re-appearing.

Any shop to recommend for the re-spraying around S'gor(Subang/sunway?) ? Thank you

FLX 1.3 Exe CVT..problem..engine feel like dying but RPM not dropping..henjut2 feeling when moving from idle to D..no throttle control it moving on its own..then several sec i had control of the paddle..why is this happening?

My preve iafm+ also don't have the screw...is that purposely left without the screw ? or not in the procedure to install the screw from the factory?

since so far i know..no preve comes with that screw...it is their mistake..maybe they not finalize the production. why left the lubang free without screw...i dont mind if they dont want screw it. but without that screw the panel pilled off by time..if no issue come even they dont screw it..i dont mind it..but that is a issue...if Proton still continue this bullshit, 100% preve will be my last proton car.
